Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform construction of a manhole and a piping work therearound according to desired construction procedures by providing a pipe coupling for first and second connection parts for interconnecting the inner and outer piping parts of the manhole. CONSTITUTION:A second connection part 3 connected to an inner piping part 22 of a manhole is coupled to a cylinder part 4 linked to a first connection part 2 connected to an outer piping part. The second connection part 3 forms a large cylinder 5 having size approximately equal to or slightly larger than the outside diameter of the cylinder part 4. The tip of the first connection part 2 is secured to a peripheral wall part 51 of the manhole in a state that it is positioned flush with an inner surface 51a or slightly protruded therefrom. This constitution prevents a pipe joint 1 for a manhole from hindering a work for the interior of the manhole and increases the degree of freedom of a construction procedure for construction of the manhole and a piping work therearound.
