Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a navigation factor without increasing weight so much by forming a twin-hull connecting part only in a prescribed range on the bow side higher than the other connecting part, in a twin-hull connecting part extended from the bow to the stern of a catamaran. CONSTITUTION:Based on distribution of height of waves made in a navigating twin-hull part, only a twin-hull connecting part 2 in the range A on the bow side at which the highest wave is generated, is made higher in the height from the water line 3 between the twin-hull. The value of height is set as a little higher value than the highest wave height in this range. It is grasped by experiment that the highest wave is generated in a specific part on the bow side of the twin-hull part at navigating, and by constituting this part of the twin-hull connecting part partially higher, collision of a wave generated at the twin-hull part against the twin-hull connecting part can be prevented even at high waves, and a navigation factor of the ship can be improved.

[Prior Art] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, in a conventional catamaran, the catamaran connecting portion 2 between the two hulls 1a and 1b on the left and right, in other words, is gradually closed on the bow side. However, if it is made too high, there is a risk that the strength of the hull will decrease, so it cannot be made too high.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] However, in order to increase the rate of service of catamaran ships, the catamaran connecting part 2
Increasing the height will increase the height H in Figure 6, which will increase the weight of the hull.On the other hand, in order to improve the speed performance of a ship, it is necessary to reduce the weight of the hull. There is a need to do so, and so far, nothing has been proposed that solves these contradictory problems.

Therefore, the inventor of the present invention conducted various studies and conducted experiments to increase the service rate without significantly increasing the weight of the hull, and found that the length of the waves created by the catamaran during aging. We discovered that if we grasped the fact that the range of directions could be specified and increased the height of the twin-hull joint only in this specific range, it was possible to increase the service rate without increasing the hull size.
The present invention has been made. That is, the present inventor conducted a model experiment in a water tank and investigated the height of waves created between the catamarans while the catamaran was sailing, and obtained the results shown in FIG. 7. According to this, the maximum wave height in the part along the hull centerline of the catamaran connecting part 2 is approximately 18 an as shown by curve I.
In addition, the maximum wave height at the inside of the catamaran is about 10 cm, as shown by the curve (■), and the maximum wave height at the centerline of the hull and the maximum wave height at the inside of the catamaran are about 10 cm. , it can be seen that the range formed by the bow side of a catamaran, for example, when a catamaran is divided into 10 equal parts from the stern to the bow, occurs in the range of 6/10 to 8/10, and the waves and waves created by the hull are Belly strike occurs when the clearance between the twin bodies is larger, so
The inventors have discovered that if the height of the twin-hull connection part 2 is increased only within the above range of 6/10 to 8/10, it is possible to prevent belly bumps, reduce the number of canceled flights, and increase the service rate, and has thus accomplished the present invention.

[Function] By increasing the height of only the catamaran joint at the highest point of the waves created by the catamaran while the catamaran is sailing, the raised catamaran joint will be able to There will be no more waves, and even if the waves are high, it will be possible to operate without canceling flights, increasing the service rate. At this time, since only a portion of the twin-barrel connecting portion is made higher, the weight does not increase significantly. Furthermore, since the waves created by the twin-hulled section are particularly high at the hull centerline section of the twin-hull connection section, the service rate can be increased even if the hull centerline section is made higher.

Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment of the present invention, and show the height of waves created by the twin hull during cruising as confirmed by the inventor's experimental results as shown in Figure 7. Catamaran connection in a specific range on the bow side where the wave height is highest, that is, range A from 6/10 to 8/10 where the waves are highest when the total length of the catamaran is divided into 10 equal parts. Only in part 2, the height from the water line 3 between the twin hulls is increased. This increased value is a value slightly larger than the value where the wave is highest in the above range. For example, when the height h from the water line 3 between the twin hulls to the twin hull connecting part 2 is 63 cm, the height of the twin hull connecting part 2 only in the range A from 6/1o to 8/1o is the maximum. Raise the height by about 25cm to make the height from water line 3 63cm.
cm + 25cm = 88 countries. The increase in the weight of the ship due to increasing the height of the twin-hull connecting portion 2 is slight.

When a ship enters service, it is often canceled due to high waves, but now, for example, when the waves are 125 m high, the decision to enter service or cancel the service is made depending on whether or not the catamaran coupling part 2 hits its belly while sailing. If the height h from the water line 3 between the catamarans to the catamaran joint 2 is constant in 63 countries, in the vicinity of 7710 in Figure 7, the height h from the water line 3 between the catamarans to the catamaran joint 2 is The height of the waves created is approximately 18cm at the centerline of the hull, so
Belly striking occurred, and the wave height was 1.2 according to the wave frequency review table below.
For lines over 5 meters, the cancellation rate is 16.6%.

In this regard, in the present invention, as mentioned above, the height of only the catamaran connecting part 2 to the specific area on the bow side is made 25 an higher than the height of the conventional catamaran connecting part 2, so that When the wave height is 125m, belly pounding disappears, and as a result, the cancellation rate of 10% at wave height 1250 in the table above disappears, so the cancellation rate becomes 6.6%, which reduces the service rate by 10% compared to conventional catamarans. This means that it can be improved.

Next, FIGS. 3 and 4 show other embodiments of the present invention, in which when the twin-hull connection part 2 is made high, the center of the hull in the range of 6/10 to 8/10 on the bow side It is clear from the experimental results shown in Figure 7 that the wave is particularly high at the line part and low at the inside of the twin body on both sides,

In this example as well, the height from the water line 3 between the twin hulls to the catamaran connecting part 2 is constant at 63 cm, and only the height of the catamaran connecting part 2 in the range of 6/10 to 8/10 is the height of the hull centerline part C. If you increase the height by 25cm and make the height from water line 3 He, and also increase the height from water line 3 by about 15 an to the peak at 8/IO on the inside of the twin body 4, make the height from water line 3 78 an. As in the case of the above-mentioned embodiment, it is possible to operate even at a wave height of 1.25 m during waves, and the service rate can be improved compared to the conventional example.

[Effects of the Invention] As mentioned above, according to the catamaran of the present invention, it was found through experiments that the highest wave produced by the catamaran during sailing can be identified at the bow side. Since the structure is such that the connecting part of the twin body is partially raised, even when the waves are high, waves created by the catamaran part will not hit the connecting part of the catamaran, so-called belly-lashing, which will not occur. It is possible to increase the rate of service. In addition, if the above-mentioned raised catamaran connection section is configured to have a particularly high hull centerline section, the wave created by the twin hull section will be particularly high at the hull centerline section, which will effectively improve the service rate. can be achieved.
