Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the exhaust smoke leaking out during the furnace tilts and rotates by forming the subject device of an exhaust smoke hood and an exhaust smoke duct and extending the opening of the exhaust smoke hood to the range of the tilting and rotating of the exhaust smoke duct and providing on the other hand the exhaust smoke duct with a sealing plate that shields the exhaust smoke hood's opening. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust smoke hood 30 is provided above an exhaust smoke duct 20, and the lower end of the exhaust smoke hood 30 forms an open section that extends over the range of tilting rotation of the exhaust duct 20. Sliding grooves 22 that are at both ends of the sides of the open section and run along its lengthwise direction, both facing inwards are formed, and the ends of the both sides of a sealing plate fit in the grooves 22 freely and slidably. When the furnace 10 is at a specified position, the tip end of the exhaust smoke duct 20 is positioned at the lower end of the exhaust smoke hood 30, and the upper section of the open section is shielded by the upper section of the sealing plate 21. When the furnace 10 rotates and tilts in order to pour molten metal into a pouring trough, the exhaust smoke duct 20 also rotates and tilts together as one body, and at the same time the sealing plate 21 is guided by the grooves 22 and the tip end of the exhaust smoke duct moves up to the upper end of the open section. At this time the lower section of the exhaust smoke hood 30 is shielded by the lower end of the sealing plate 21.

Mixing furnaces and other equipment used to manufacture zinc alloys include
A smoke exhaust device is attached to the top of the furnace to guide the smoke generated from the mixing furnace to the outside. Conventionally used smoke exhaust devices are mainly formed by a smoke exhaust duct attached to a furnace lid that covers the upper surface of a mixing furnace. The middle part of the smoke exhaust duct is connected separately so as not to interfere with the tilting of the furnace,
The lower smoke exhaust duct is erected approximately perpendicularly to the furnace cover so as to be tilted together with the furnace. The flue gas inside the furnace is led to the flue gas treatment equipment such as a bag filter through the smoke exhaust duct, and
After being treated with m, it is released into the atmosphere.

However, with conventional smoke exhaust devices, when the lower smoke exhaust duct attached to the top of the furnace tilts together with the furnace, it comes off from the upper smoke exhaust duct and exhaust smoke flows into the furnace. There is a problem that it is released into the surrounding area and damages the environment around the furnace.

As described above, in the smoke exhaust device of the present invention, the smoke exhaust duct is slidably and airtightly connected to the smoke exhaust hood. In addition, as another embodiment, the smoke exhaust duct and the rotary hood may be connected by a heat-resistant bellows. Since the smoke duct does not come off the smoke exhaust hood, exhaust smoke is not released to the outside and does not damage the surrounding environment. Furthermore, since all of the flue gas can be guided to flue gas treatment equipment such as a bag filter, valuable metals in the flue gas can be recovered without waste, and the actual yield rate of alloying operations can be improved.
