ず、経済的でないとともに扱いに不便である。本
考案は上記従来事情に鑑みてなされたもので、そ
の目的は同一構造のカセツトを、ラベル紙ロール
とレシート紙ロールとに兼用可能にし、しかも何
れのカセツトが装着されたかを検出可能にして安
価かつ使用性に優れたカセツト式プリンタを提供

を設け、カセツトをカセツト装着部に装着したと
きに前記センサによりカセツト内の印刷用紙の種
類が検出されるようにしたので、その検出結果に
基づいてプリンタの印字モードをラベル印字、レ
シート印字の何れかに設定することができ、設定
ミスがなく正確な印字作業を行わせることができ

着したときに前記センサによりカセツト内の印刷
用紙の種類が検出されることを特徴とするプリン
