  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 双方の軸を連結する連結機構を有し、その一方

    する弾性の封止部材により前記連結機構が密封さ
    れるようにした自在継手の密封装置において、 前記封止部材の端部内周面に設けられ、前記連
    結機構を外部に連通可能な軸方向の通気溝と、 該通気溝と関連する位置に当該通気溝と平行に
    、前記バンドによる締結時に前記通気溝が前記弾
    性により消滅するのを防止する消滅防止手段とを
    設けたことを特徴とする自在継手の密封装置。
