Claims (1)
ムシヤフトがシリンダヘツドに備えられ、これら
カムシヤフトの一方がクランクシヤフトにより駆
動されると共に、該カムシヤフトと他方のカムシ
ヤフトとが一対のカムシヤフトギヤを介して連動
され、かつ上記クランクシヤフトに駆動される駆
動側のカムシヤフトの一端部に可変バルブタイミ
ング機構が取り付けられているＤＯＨＣエンジン
において、上記駆動側カムシヤフトの端部に外嵌
される上記可変バルブタイミング機構のケーシン
グに、シリンダヘツドに設けられた軸受け部に軸
受けされるジヤーナル部を設けると共に、該ジヤ
ーナル部に隣接する段付き面を上記軸受け部の一
方の端面に当接させ、かつ該軸受け部の他方の端
面に当該駆動側カムシヤフトに取り付けられたカ
ムシヤフトギヤを当接させたことを特徴とするＤ
