[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a fuel filler port applied to a fuel tank of an industrial vehicle or the like.

In the case of the conventional structure, the air in the fuel tank 02 escapes from the strainer section 01 during refueling. With this structure, if the fuel flow rate is large and the strainer 01 is covered with fuel up to the top, the air in the fuel tank 02 will not be exhausted, and as a result, the fuel will flow into the tank 02.
Not only will the fuel stop flowing inside, but it will also overflow outside the fuel filler port. In order to avoid such a situation, conventionally, the flow rate of fuel during refueling was reduced to prevent the upper part of the strainer 01 from being covered with fuel.

When considering improving the operating rate of vehicles, it is not desirable that refueling takes time.
The present invention proposes a fuel filler port that does not have the above-mentioned problems.

The fuel filler port according to the present invention includes an outer pipe fixed through a washer seated on the fuel tank;
It consists of an inner pipe that is fixed inside the outer pipe with a space between them, and a strainer that is installed vertically at the bottom of the inner pipe, and there are many air vent holes in the fuel tank on the upper end of the inner pipe. This is a summary.

Even when the fuel flow is high and covers the strainer, the air in the tank passes through the gap between the outer pipe and inner pipe and escapes from the air vent hole, making it possible to continue refueling for a short time. You can refuel at.

[Embodiment] FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the fuel filler port according to the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a fuel tank, and a washer 2 is seated and fixed to this tank 1 with a bolt 3. Further, an outer pipe 4 is fixed to the through hole of the washer 2, and an inner pipe 5 is attached at a spaced interval inside the outer pipe 4.

Also, a tank 1 is provided at the top of this inner pipe 5.
A large number of air vent holes 5a are provided therein, and a strainer 6 is placed on the lower narrow part thereof.

Thus, the air in the tank 1 escapes to the outside through the gap between the inner pipe 2 and the outer pipe 3, allowing fuel from the fuel supply hose 7 to be smoothly introduced into the tank 1.

According to the present invention, by providing an outlet for the air in the tank at the fuel filler port, the air in the tank does not interfere with the inflow of fuel into the strainer during refueling, allowing smooth refueling and reducing refueling time. This is effective in improving the operating rate of the vehicle. In addition, in the fuel filler port of the present invention, the hole for extracting air from the fuel tank when refueling the fuel tank is provided in the inner pipe that is separate from the strainer, so the opening area of the hole can be made sufficiently wide. You can freely set a flow path with low resistance for air outflow.
