(Prior technology) Conventionally, as a foundation seismic isolation system for the purpose of seismic isolation in the event of a major earthquake in the foundations of buildings, road bridges, and other buildings or general equipment, laminated rubber and metal plates, which are laminated with rubber and metal plates, have been used. ,
It is common practice to use both steel dampers together. This steel damper requires a lot of time and money to construct and maintain, and has the disadvantage of narrowing the underground space of buildings and preventing its effective use. Recently, there has been a strong demand for seismic isolation using only WtR rubber by improving damping performance.

600% to follow large horizontal displacements of laminated rubber.
In addition, the damping performance can be significantly improved.

On the other hand, conventional damping rubber materials for laminated rubber include rubbers such as styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), butadiene rubber (BR), natural rubber, and imprene rubber, with fillers such as carbon black, graphite, and plasticizers as appropriate. Mixed and vulcanized products (e.g.
No. 5-5540) and the like have been widely used, but the reality is that no one has yet been obtained that fully satisfies the above-mentioned protection properties.

In addition, in order to significantly improve the damping performance, instead of the viscoelastic behavior of the composition, we have changed the equivalent damping constant to 0.15 in the usage temperature range (approximately -10 to 40°C).
In addition, it is necessary to keep the damping characteristics constant within the operating temperature range by minimizing the temperature dependence of the elastic modulus (change in the elastic modulus with m degrees) as much as possible. To deal with this, we have added SBR and B, which are compatible with natural rubber, to natural rubber.
Attempts have been made to blend R, but sufficient properties have not yet been obtained.

The present inventors aimed to solve the above-mentioned problems in a composition using (a) natural rubber or chloroprene rubber as a base resin, which has good creep properties as a rubber material for laminated rubber.
As a result of examining various combinations of rubbers with good compatibility with natural rubber (SBR, BR, butyl rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, nitrile rubber, etc.), we found that (c) carboxy-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and (c) natural rubber. The present invention was based on the discovery that by vulcanizing a basic composition containing graft-bonded nylon fibers, the elongation of the composition could be increased to 600% or more while greatly improving the damping performance.

In the present invention, the nylon fibers to which natural rubber is grafted include short nylon fibers to which natural rubber is chemically grafted on the surface; for example, the ratio of nylon fibers to natural rubber is 1:2. A material having an average diameter of 0.2 μm or more (by weight) and a length of about 1 square inch can be used.

(c) Carboxy-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber in the present invention has a viscosity of about 1,000 to 600,000 cP with a carboxyl group added to the end of a low molecular weight molecular chain.
liquid carboxy-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber with a molecular weight of 20,000 to 100, which is obtained by copolymerizing an acrylic monomer such as methacrylic acid to add a carboxyl group to the middle of the molecular chain.
Any of about 10,000 solid rubbers can be used. However, liquid rubber is particularly preferred from the viewpoint of compatibility with component (a).

The vibration damping material of the present invention further contains ferrite powder,
It is manufactured by adding fillers such as carne black and vulcanizing it. When used in laminated rubber, necessary and sufficient mechanical properties can be obtained by adjusting the final hardness after vulcanization to be 40 to 70 degrees in JIS-A hardness. In addition to this basic formulation, plasticizers, process oils, and other additives may be added to the extent that they do not impair the effects of the present invention.

(Function) In the present invention, nylon fibers having good creep properties (a) based on natural rubber or chloroprene rubber, and (b) natural rubber or graft bonded thereto;
(c) Since a predetermined amount of carboxy-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber is blended and the filler is added, the mixture is vulcanized;
Damping performance and elongation can be significantly improved compared to conventional models. Furthermore, since a carboxy-modified rubber is used as component (iii), the temperature change in Young's modulus is extremely small compared to acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber that is not carboxy-modified, and the damping performance is greatly improved.
