CONSTITUTION:A cutting liquid flying preventing cover comprises a fixing cover 1 disposed on the machine body side and a rotary cover 2 located on the pallet change 10 side. 位置に非接触でパレットの水平回転が可能となるような
逆台形状の開口部1aを形成する一方、前記回転カバー
2をリフトストロークの上昇で開口部斜辺tb、tbと
の隙間が生じ、降下で開口部斜辺との重なりしろが生ず
る寸法の逆台形状に成形し、2つのパレットの中間位置
となるパレット旋回部10aに立設して構成するもので
ある。 すなわち前記回転カバー2にあっては、固定カバー1に
対して逆台形状の下底辺の長さが開口部1aのそれに対
してわずかに長く、またその高さは開口部のそれよりも
適当に短い寸法に設けてあり、該回転カバーと開口部の
夫々の下底辺が同一面上となる場合には回転カバー2の
両斜辺部2a12aに固定カバー1との重なりしろとな
る部分D1Dが生ずるように成形されている。 これにより第3図に示すように、パレットチェンジャの
パレット旋回部10aに立設された回転カバー2はパレ
ット旋回部のリフトストローク最下限で両斜辺部2a1
2aに最大幅の重なりしろり、Dが生じ、第4図に示す
ように、リフトストロークの上昇過程で重なりしろの幅
が次第に減少し、開口部の両斜辺を結ぶ幅と下底辺の幅
とが一致する中間点を通過すると重なりしろが解消され
、リフトストロークの上限付近となるに従って開口部斜
辺との間に徐々に隙間d1dが生ずるものとなる。 よって、パレット交換にあたって、パレット旋回部が上

る。 したがって、加工時には固定カバー1と回転カバー2と
が重なりあうことから切削液などが飛散する隙間がなく
加工部を密閉状態とすることが可能でありながら、パレ
ット交換の際にはパレット旋回部10aの動作に応じて
固定カバー1の開口部1aに対する回転カバー2の態様
が変化するものとなり、扉部分の開閉などに係る作業が
不要とされるのである。 なお、符号3は固定カバーの開口部上底辺側に設けたゴ
ムカバーで、前記回転カバーがパレット旋回部のリフト
ストローク最下限にある状態時にはその自由端が回転カ
バーの下底辺と重複し、パレット旋回部の上昇、回転時
には自由端が柔軟に対応するようにのれん状に配設して
なり、加工時の密閉状態を保持している。 また、符号4は加工状態を監視するために固定カバーお
よび回転カバーの適宜箇所に設けた監視窓であり、監視
に必要となる部分を切り抜いて透明部材を配設して構成
するものである。

変化するものとなり、加工時には加工部を密閉して切削
液等の外部への飛散を防ぎ、パレット交換時にはカバー
に対する直接的な操作を不要とするといった優れた効果
を奏するものである。
