Abstract

PURPOSE:To move sick a person in simple manner from a bed and permit taking a bath and permit dirt to be washed away and discharged in simple manner by using a 'futon' mat in which an electrical heating wire is acommodated inside and the outside is made of waterproof cloth and installing a pulling-out type bathtub in the lower part of the bed. CONSTITUTION:A 'futon' mat 4 (bedclothes in Japanese life) in which a nichrome wire for electrical heating and cotton are accommodated inside and the outside is 4 packed by the waterproof cloth such as vinyl or rubber cloth is fitted inside a frame 3, and fixed on a bed frame 1. A bathtub 5 made of the rustproof material such as synthetic resin or stainless steel is accomodated into the lower part of a bed in the ordinary case, and can be pulled out likely as chest of drawers. A hurdle board 8 is set in the bathtub 5. Accordingly, a large farce is not necessary for placing a human body on the hurdle board 8. Even if a bed is dirtied with the excrement of a patient, cleaning can be carried out very easily, and the dirt can be washed and discharged.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Currently, nursing facilities for the elderly are a major problem in Japan, and the biggest problems for nurses are bathing, which requires manual labor, and disposal of human excrement. Regarding bathing, the primary objective of the present invention is to enable even a weak person, such as an elderly person, to easily move a sick person from a bed and bathe him/her.

Figure 1 shows the structure of this bed, and Figure 2 shows how a patient takes a bath. First, FIG. 1 will be explained. 2 is a bed frame made of wood or metal, and the frame plate 2 has two small holes, one for passing hot water for bathing and the other for passing a rubber hose for draining water. Reference numeral 3 designates a frame for holding a rectangular dish-shaped dumpling made of a plate material, such as stainless steel, which is resistant to rust due to moisture. 4 is a kabaton in which a heating part such as a nichrome wire for electric heating and cotton are placed inside, and the outside is wrapped with waterproof cloth such as vinyl or rubber.

The above-mentioned pillowcase is fitted into the frame 3 and fixed to the bed frame 1. The reason for using a dish-shaped Kabaton frame made of a thin metal plate as shown in 3 is to make the Kabaton as thin as possible and to reduce the difference in height between the bed and the bath frame when a sick person takes a bath, as described below. It is for the purpose of The thickness of Matabedon 4 should be as thin as possible to prevent damage to the patient's lower back. However, to protect against the cold, electric heat is installed. It is preferable that the voltage of the power supply for electric heating be low, since in some cases the bed may be washed with water. 5 is a bathtub, which is made of rust-resistant material such as synthetic resin or stainless steel. The bathtub 5 has two holes on one side, one for hot water supply and one for drainage, and these holes are connected to the outside through two hoses. The bathtub 5 also has three wheels for moving, one of which can be moved electrically by an electric motor 6.

As shown in the figure, the bathtub 5 has a wall plate attached thereto to prevent water droplets from scattering during bathing. Reference numeral 7 denotes a push-button switch box for electrically moving the bathtub when taking a bath, or performing operations such as supplying hot water, water, and energizing the electric heater on the bed. Although the bathtub is usually located at the bottom of the bed, the gap between it and the bed frame 3 should be made as small as possible to prevent moisture from escaping from the bathtub into the room where the patient is staying. This purpose also gives rise to the meaning of making a bathtub shaped like a chest of drawers.

Referring now to Figure 2, it shows how to bathe a sick person. A bath frame 8 is placed in the bathtub 5, and this frame is generally made of wood or synthetic resin.

As shown in the diagram, there are many gaps in the frame near the patient's feet, but this is designed to be convenient for drawing up hot water from a bucket or the like and pouring it over the patient's body during bathing.

This is the method used when bathing a sick person, and as shown in the figure, the person's body is rolled over and placed on the bathing table frame 8.

At this time, the difference between the height of the bathing table frame and the height of the bed cushion is several meters.
Therefore, it does not require any great force and does not cause pain to the sick person. Also, since the lower part is so-called slatted, most of the hot water will return to the bathtub. Next, in the unlikely event that the bed becomes dirty with the excrement of a sick person, it is obvious that it can be cleaned very easily and the filth can be washed away.

At first glance, it may seem unclean to pour waste into the bathtub and then rinse it away, but foreigners apparently do not understand the idea of washing in the flush toilet tank. It's all about emotions. Figure 1 shows the main parts of the present invention, and Figure 2 shows how to use the device of the present invention. Bed frame 2 degrees, frame plate, hood frame 4 degrees, hood 5 degrees, bathtub 6 degrees. Electric motor 7° switch box 8° bathing frame
