The workpiece is formed into a certain product shape by the rolls as it moves forward, and the product is connected at the part that remains after notching. The part that remains after this notch process becomes a flat plate or a simple shape close to a flat plate, and because the cutting process is performed using a mold using a press machine, etc., there is no problem of curvature and the product is cut and separated. can do. This prevents burrs from forming on both end faces of the roll-formed product. Furthermore, even if a slight burr is generated during notch processing, the burr will be reliably crushed and eliminated by the pressure applied during subsequent roll forming.

FIG. 1 shows the entire roll forming device, in which a workpiece pulled out of a hoop material 1 passes through a notch processing machine 2, is supplied to a roll forming device 3, where it is plastically worked into a product shape, and is then processed by a cutting machine 4. Separate the connected products 5. When the workpiece is pulled out from the hoop material 1 by a predetermined length dimension, the notch processing machine 2 operates, and cuts the notch part 6 shown in FIG. The remaining parts of the rolls 6 are moved forward by a roll with a drive device of the roll forming device 3, and are plastically worked into a certain product shape. A cross-sectional view with the notch 6 at this time is shown in FIG. The product 5 that is not left after processing the notch 6 is moved from the roll forming device 3 to the cutting machine 4, and the cutting machine 4 operates at the position of the notch 6 and is connected at the notch 6. The above operations are performed continuously. FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 show a shape diagram of another notch 7 in this embodiment, and a sectional view after roll forming at that time.
