（産業上の利用分野）この考案は、カラープリンター等の色選択カラ
ー表示装置に関するものである。（従来の技術）一般に、色付き（単色）のカラープリンター等
においては、色選択の表示部のボタン等を押して
所望の印刷カラーを選択するようになつている。ところが、色選択の表示部は、「緑」、「黄」
「青」等のように文字で表示がなされているので、
視覚的に色彩を把握するのが困難である。原色な
らまだしも、たとえば中間色の青紫といつても個
人差があつて、どのような色かはつきりしないこ
とがある。（考案が解決しようとする問題点）この考案は、前記した従来の問題点を解消する
ためになされ、カラープリンター等において、選
択しようとする色を視覚的に直感できるようにし
たカラー表示装置を提供しようとするものであ
る。（問題点を解決するための手段）このような問題点の解決手段として、この考案
は、カラー画像を形成するカラー画像形成装置の
再現する色を表示するカラー表示装置において、
透明の表示部に、前記カラー画像形成装置で再現
される色に対応して順次色調の異なる多色区分を
施した透過性フイルムを設け、この背面側に白色
光源を配設し、かつ前記各色区分に対応する色選
択ボタンを設けた構成を要旨とするものである。（実施例）以下、図示の実施例によりこの考案を具体的に
説明すると、図において、１は表示部のハウジン
グであり、その前面側に表示シート２が嵌着さ
れ、この表示シートの要所に印刷の施されていな
い透明の部分２ａ，２ｂが設けられている。３は
透過性フイルムであり、順次色調の異なる色が連
続的に区分して施され、前記表示シート２の透明
部分２ａに合せて、その背面側に配設されてい
る。４は冷陰極放電灯等の白色光源であり、前記
ハウジング１に収納され、前記透過性フイルム３
全体を照射できるようにしてある。５はパイロツ
トランプ用のLEDであり、一定の間隔をあけて
並設された前記透明部分２ｂにそれぞれ対応させ
て設けられている。このようにして形成されたパ
イロツトランプ点灯用の透明部分２ｂは、前記透
明部分２ａに配設された透過性フイルム３の各色
区分にそれぞれ対応する位置関係となつている。
６は色選択用のボタンであり、前記色表示用の透
明部分２ａの下方に位置させ、かつ前記透過性フ
イルム３の各色区分にそれぞれ対応させて並設し
てある。なお、７はプリント基板である。この考案に係るカラー表示装置は、上記のよう
に構成され、前記白色光源４を点灯させると、表
示シート２の透明部分２ａに、透過性フイルム３
の全部の色があたかも虹色のように鮮やかに表示
される。この色区分の中から、所望する印刷色を選択
し、その色に対応するボタン６を押すと、その色
に対応する位置のLED５が点灯し、その色が選
択されたことを表示することができる。例えば、
赤色で印刷したい場合には、赤色の下のｆボタン
を押せばよく、青色の場合はｊボタン、緑色の場
合はａボタンというように色選択用のボタンを押
せばよい。ボタンの位置と色調との関係は、下記
