Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow one element to radiate a radio wave of two frequency bands by providing a slot antenna onto a patch antenna. CONSTITUTION:A patch antenna 3 is provided on a dielectric board 1 and a slot antenna 4 is located on the patch antenna 3. Moreover, a feeder line 5 to feed the slot antenna 4 is provided between dielectric layers 7 and 8. Thus, a radio wave propagating to a feeder line 6 radiates in space by the patch antenna 3. Moreover, a radio wave propagating through the feeder line 5 is coupled electromagnetically with the slot antenna 4 and a radio wave radiates in space from the slot antenna 4.
