縁板の耐久性を著しく向上せしめることができる
とともに前記弱点部が折損しても、前記絶縁継目
板凹部係止用突起部が絶縁継目板の凹部に係止し
て、前記レール形絶縁板の一部がレール継目部に
残留するため、両レールの電気的短絡を防ぎ、信
号障害を防止することができるものであり、また
従来品と使用上互換性があり、経済上も従来品と
ほぼ変らない価格で製作し得る等、種々の優れた
効果を有するものである。
