〓Conventional technology〓 If fabrics, especially woolen fabrics, are tailored in their woven state, they may shrink after being tailored.
Finishing is done to prevent shrinkage. Conventional sponding machines used for this finishing process pinch the leading edge of the fabric while pulling it through the processing process, which results in too much tension on the fabric, which can cause the fabric to shrink during the sewing process. Since the fabric cannot be transported or processed unless it has a certain length, it is not possible to conduct tests to obtain the optimal conditions using a piece of cloth, and it is difficult to understand the finished condition unless you see the processed results. I couldn't. In addition, since the steam was configured to be sprayed only from one side of the fabric, there were cases where the front and back sides of the fabric had to be aligned with the side where the steam was sprayed, or when a large amount of steam had to be sprayed. However, this required a complicated process in which the fabric had to be passed through the steam treatment again.

〓Problem to be solved by the invention〓 Conventional sponging machines were configured to clamp and pull the leading edge of the fabric as a conveying means for processing the fabric, which resulted in the problem of pulling the fabric too much. A plurality of conveyors for conveying the fabric are provided in a multi-stage or bent manner,
The fabric being conveyed thereby is turned upside down during the conveyance. Therefore, when the cloth is turned upside down, the cloth is turned inside out, and a wavy piled-up part or a wrinkled part is sometimes generated at the position. This was especially common in the case of small test pieces. Furthermore, since the steam is sprayed only from one side of the fabric, it is necessary to check the front and back sides of the fabric when setting the fabric, resulting in low workability and processing capacity. It had a point. Furthermore, depending on the type of fabric to be treated, it may be necessary to inject steam only from the top or bottom of the fabric. For example, in the case of folded fabrics or glossy fabrics, steam is not applied to the top surface of the fabric but only from the bottom side, or in the case of cashmere fabrics or fabrics with fluff, steam is applied only from the top side. . In the former case, if the device has a steam injection port only on the upper surface of the fabric, the cut pile will be blown with steam, which will have an adverse effect on the fabric. As described above, it has not been possible to inject steam from either the top surface, the bottom surface, or both of the fabrics depending on the fabric using a single device. Therefore, the sponding machine of the present invention was constructed to solve these problems.

〓Operation〓 Fabric is placed on a conveyor that runs automatically without distinguishing between the front and back sides, starting from the tip. As the conveyor runs, the fabrics are sequentially unwound from storage objects such as conveyors, sprayed with water, and sent to the steam injection section. In the steam injection section, steam is injected from the upper or lower side of the fabric in line with the surface on which the fabric is placed on the conveyor, thereby relaxing the fabric and giving it appropriate fullness and texture. The fabric is then transported to a drying process by a conveyor and finished to a predetermined moisture content.

Currently, 100% wool fabric weighing 300g per cm2 is being produced at a rate of 5 minutes per minute.
In order to process at a conveyor speed of m, each button 23,
24, 13, press the button so that steam is strongly ejected from both the upper and lower sides, and press the start button 28, the three conveyors 6, 7, 8 will run at the set speed. Then, the operator pulls out the leading end of the wool fabric from the cart 21 and places it on the conveyor 6. The woolen fabric is conveyed by a conveyor 6, sprayed with water by a spray section 3, and sent to a second conveyor 7. The woolen fabric placed on the conveyor 7 is sprayed with steam from the lower surface of the conveyor 7 by the preliminary steam 14, sent into the cover 15, and steam is sprayed from the upper and lower steam injection mechanisms 16, 17. The woolen fabric that has passed through the steam injection section 4 by this second conveyor 7 is transferred to a third conveyor 8 and sent to the drying section 5. While the woolen fabric is conveyed by the third conveyor 8, the heater 19
The heated air passes through the woolen fabric by the suction force of the vacuum device 20, thereby setting the vacuum. This vacuum setting is carried out at the humidity within the factory, thereby eliminating the need for leaving the product in the air after the sponding treatment. After the vacuum set, the woolen fabric is automatically stored in the trolley 22 and subjected to a fulling process.

〓Effect of the invention〓 The sponging machine of the present invention has a spray part,
A steam injection section and a heat set section are arranged in a row, and a preliminary steam is provided in front of the steam injection section. The heat set section is equipped with a heater and a vacuum device facing each other with a conveyor in between. An endless conveyor is provided in series through each of the sections with the fabric conveyance direction aligned in the same direction and without any interval, and the conveyor is made of a material or composition that allows steam to pass through, and the upper surface side of the conveyor of the steam injection section and the endless conveyor are provided. Since a steam injection mechanism that can be operated separately is provided on both sides of the bottom side, there is no change in processing conditions such as tension fluctuations in various parts of the fabric due to reversal of the fabric or occurrence of fabric bending, and the sewing process is improved. When processing, the inconvenience caused by shrinkage of the fabric is completely eliminated, and even a piece of cloth cut into small pieces, for example, about 30 cm, can be processed satisfactorily. You can also test drive it. In addition, with the device of the present invention, preliminary steam treatment can be performed slowly before steaming treatment in the steam injection section, so that environmental changes can be alleviated without causing sudden environmental changes to the material. The effect is obtained,
It can also be used for glossy materials and soft-finished materials.

Furthermore, since the structure is such that steam can be injected onto the fabric from either the front or back sides of the fabric, or from either side, fabric handling becomes extremely simple and processing capacity is greatly improved. I can do it.

Although this type of treatment has generally been applied only to woolen fabrics, experiments have shown that even if the material is 100% polyester, heat treatment with the sponding machine of the present invention can improve the sewing process. This has resulted in extremely important results such as an increase in the amount of work that can be done, that is, it has become easier to sew, and it has now become possible to provide a useful sponging machine that can heat-treat fabrics made of any material. .
