Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress noise due to vibration of a fan cover having long axial dimension by forming annular protrusions and recesses, crossing approximately in perpendicular to the axial direction of a motor, on the outer circumferential wall of the fan cover and bonding a cooling air guide tube integrally to the inner circumference of each protrusion and recess. CONSTITUTION:A series of protrusions and recesses, crossing approximately in perpendicular to the axial direction of a motor, are formed annularly on the outer circumferential wall of a fan cover 9. A tube 10 for guiding the cooling air fed from a cooling fan 8 in the fan cover 9 is bonded integrally to the inner circumference of each protrusion and recess 9a. According to the constitution, rigidity of fan increases through the combined function of the protrusions and recesses 9a on the fan cover and the guide tube 10 resulting in reduction of vibration and noise at the time of air supply.

送風時の振動による騒音が大きくなるという問題点があ
った。
