Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of crack in a sprayed deposit by applying a waterproofing coating film material having elasticity of elongation to the surface of concrete and then forming a sprayed deposit of metal or ceramics on the above CONSTITUTION:First a waterproofing coating film material 12 having elasticity of elongation is applied to the surface of concrete 10 by means of a surface preparation stage. As this waterproofing coating film material 12, a coating film material, e.g. of urethane rubber, acrylic rubber, chlorobutylene, acrylic resin, or rubber-asphalt series is used. Then, metal or ceramics is thermally sprayed by using a thermal spray gun 14 on the heat resisting inorganic primer 12 applied to the the above concrete 10 surface, by which a coated film layer 16 is formed. Because the waterproofing coating film material 12 having elasticity of elongation is applied to the concrete 10 surface in the stage prior to the formation of the sprayed deposit 16 formed in the thermal spraying stage, dimensional distortion caused by cracks C can be absorbed by the deformation of this waterproofing coating film material 12 in the case where the cracks C occur in this concrete 10, by which the above distortion can be prevented from acting on the sprayed deposit 16.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in such conventional concrete lining, the thermal sprayed coating on the concrete is formed as a thin film of metal or ceramics, so it has poor elasticity and causes cracks in the concrete that is the base material. When this happens, cracks easily occur in the sprayed coating.

Further, even if a low melting point alloy material is applied under the thermal spray coating, the elastic force of this alloy material is extremely small, so cracks in the concrete will similarly cause cracks in the thermal spray coating.
