Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow efficient entry to and retreat from a contaminated area without any need of a spare room for access by enabling a coupled section between a part of an airline suit and the side wall of a contaminated room to be opened or closed in a sealed state. CONSTITUTION:An airline suit 16 to be put on for working in a contaminated area is fitted with a lid frame 12 and a lid 13, while a lid frame 10 is fitted to a wall 15 separating the contaminated area from a non-contaminated area and a lid 11 is fitted thereto. The suit 16 and the wall 15 are coupled to each other with an operation handle 1, gears 2 and 3, and screws 4 to 8. A worker can enter or leave the suit 16 via the access opening 50 thereof by opening or closing the coupled lids 13 and 11. In this case, a packing 14 is used for maintaining airtightness at the time of opening or closing the lids 13 and 11. In opening the contaminated area, the frames 12 and 10 are coupled to each other, and the lids 13 and 11 to be demounted become faced to each other at a contaminated portion, thereby forming a sealed section 30. The spread of contamination, therefore, can be prevented. According to the aforesaid construction, direct access to the suit 16 can be made without any need of a less contaminated room via the installation of a coupling and releasing means.

[Prior Art] Particular care is taken when entering and exiting contaminated areas at nuclear facilities and the like. When entering the room, an airline suit is worn, and when leaving the room, one or three rooms with low contamination levels are set up, where the contamination level is gradually lowered and the contamination level is measured to ensure that the contamination is removed. After confirming that everything has been completed, leave the room. This is the method used to enter and exit the contaminated room when fishing on a boat, but it is especially important to prevent the spread of contamination by exiting.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned conventional technology, it is necessary to provide one to three rooms with a low contamination level when leaving the room, so it is necessary to secure a large space accordingly. Although the contamination level is low, some rooms require contamination control similar to contaminated areas.

In addition, there are cases where contamination is being removed in rooms with low contamination levels and measurements are being taken to confirm the decontamination.
In particular, there is a problem in that it takes a lot of time to leave the room. This also leads to a decrease in the efficiency of work that requires repeated entry and exit from the isolation room.

On the other hand, the screw 7.8 connected to the gear 3 rotates to the left, and in the case of a right-handed screw, moves to the right in the figure. The details of these movements will be described later, but the present invention allows the coupling and release of the four elements by rotating the screws 4.5 and 7.8 by manipulating the handle l in this manner. This is what we do. This combination and release will be described below.

In the manufacturing process, the screws 5 and 8 are inserted into this space and then a presser 17 is screwed in. If the screw is a right-handed screw, if the screw continues to be rotated clockwise, the screw head 18 will press against the space wall 19. Conversely, if the screw head 18 continues to rotate counterclockwise, the screw head 18 will press against the presser 17. Note that FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of part (a) in FIG. 3. As is clear from the above configuration, if the screws 4 and 5 are continued to be rotated clockwise, lO and 12 will be connected, and at the same time, 7 and 8 will be rotated counterclockwise to connect 11 and 13. Also, at this time, 8 and the lid frame 12 are separated, and at the same time, 5 and the lid 11 are separated.
