This bag is commonly known as a colostomy or ostomy bag. Additionally, waste such as disposable medical instruments (syringes, scalpels, etc.) and filth generated during surgery cannot be disposed of as is, so they are usually incinerated after undergoing an autoclave sterilization process at hospitals. In autoclaving and incinerating such waste, medical bags are used to contain the waste.

。The characteristics required for such a medical bag are that it has odor resistance (gas barrier properties), and that it makes minimal or no noise when worn (excellent silence).
It has a good texture, and has excellent sealing properties during bag-making processing using a sealer or the like.

As the dicarboxylic acid component other than terephthalic acid, for example, isophthalic acid, sebacic acid, adipic acid, azelaic acid, succinic acid, etc. can be used. These diol components and dicarboxylic acid components can be subjected to co-condensation as long as the inherent properties of the polybutylene terephthalate resin are not lost.

If the thickness of the laminated film is less than 30 μm, the strength of the medical band produced using the laminated film will be insufficient, and if the thickness of the laminated film exceeds 100 μm, the flexibility will decrease, making it difficult to use. The thickness of the base layer is preferably 30μ or less, particularly 5 to 3
0 μm is preferred. If the thickness of the base layer is thicker than 30 μl, the silent property tends to be poor. If it is less than 5 μm, the barrier properties are poor. The thickness of the surface layer is preferably 3 to 50 μI. When the thickness of the surface layer is less than 3 μm, the silent property is poor and the texture tends to be poor.
