Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a beautiful cloisonne product according to a mass produc tion system by preparing a pair of female and male molds having uneven pattern surfaces capable of being fitted each other and interposing an extremely thin annealed metal material between both molds to press the same. CONSTITUTION:A female mold 1 having arbitrary line patterns 2 engraved in the surface thereof and the smooth surface of a metal slightly softer than the metal material 5 of the female mold having the line patterns 2 but having surface hardness sufficiently higher than that of said metal material 5, for example, brass or the like is matched with the surface of the female mold and strongly struck by a hammer to be inserted in the line patterns 2 of the female mold to form a male mold 3 having said patterns 2 as protruding line patterns 4 transferred thereto. When a rolled and annealed silver material is held between a pair of the female and male molds thus obtained, the uneven patterns 6 corresponding to the uneven patterns 2, 4 of both female and male molds are formed to the surface and rear of the silver material 5. Continuously, the surface and rear of the formed material 5 are reversed and cloisonne glaze is built on the recessed parts thereof.

Cloisonné is made by baking barge glass at high temperatures (approximately 800℃) on metal bases such as copper, silver, and aluminum, and is widely used in everything from arts and crafts to industrial products. There are also a wide variety of manufacturing methods. Among these, the wire cloisonné technique is used for products with high artistic value, and is a pattern in which arbitrary designs such as birds and flowers are finely divided using silver wire with a diameter of about 111 on the surface of a silver or copper base. A different color of cloisonné glaze is placed in each section and fired repeatedly at approximately 800 degrees Celsius.

In addition, in techniques such as wireless cloisonné and colored glaze cloisonné, the above-mentioned silver wire sections are omitted and the appropriate pattern is glazed directly onto the base material and then fired.

In addition to the above-mentioned technique called hon cloisonné, there is also a technique called badge cloisonné, which is generally used for small products such as insignia and nameplates.

In other words, a male mold with a simple convex pattern engraved on the surface of a relatively thick metal base is hard pressed to transfer it into a concave shape, and lacquer or the like is applied to the area between and baked to finish. Representative.

In the conventional example described above, the craft value of the product obtained by wire cloisonné increases as the divisions made by the silver wire become finer, but the labor involved increases accordingly. In addition, this technique requires drawing divisions with silver wire for each item, so it takes time to produce, and it is a technique that is only used for arts and crafts that are made in one piece, that is, high-grade cloisonnés that cannot be mass-produced. On the other hand, with wireless cloisonné and colored glazed cloisonné, there is no need to use silver wire to create divisions, so the production time per item is shortened accordingly, but the boundaries between the colors are not clearly finished, and moreover, it is difficult to arrange cloisonné. As the glaze becomes shallower, the aesthetic value is considerably reduced.

In addition, with badge cloisonne, uneven sections are created by stamping on one side of a relatively thick metal base, so mass production is possible, but it is not possible to create intricate patterns or deep unevenness. , the convex lines forming the divisions become thicker,
The glaze applied to this area is shallow and the color is simple, so it has almost no value as a craft. Therefore, this technique was only used for badges that were mass-produced and had a low unit price.

In addition, there is a technique called transfer cloisonné that uses screen transfer paper, but since the pressing force per unit area against the screen is weak, the thickness of the cloisonné is limited, and the problem is that it is not possible to deepen the hue.

In the present invention, by applying the advantageous properties of each of these numerous cloisonné production techniques, it is possible to mass-produce cloisonné products similar to badge cloisonne, and to manufacture beautiful cloisonné products that are almost equivalent to wired cloisonne. The purpose is to provide techniques that can be used.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, this invention produces a pair of male and female molds having uneven patterned surfaces that can be fitted into each other,
By interposing an ultra-thin annealed metal base between the two molds and pressing, the uneven pattern is accurately transferred to the base, and colored cloisonné glazes are applied to the recesses using conventional glazing methods. , drying, and baking.

In addition, in producing both male and female molds, a female mold is made by carving a desired line pattern on a hard metal surface, and a metal slightly softer than this female mold is hard-hit on the carved surface of the female mold. A method was used in which a male mold was constructed by accurately transferring a convex pattern corresponding to the line pattern of the female mold by molding.

It is engraved into a mold by using an ultra-thin plate of an ultra-thin metal base with excellent extensibility and pressing the base using male and female molds whose uneven patterns fit accurately into each other. It has the effect that the fine line patterns are expressed as they are on the front and back of the base surface.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be further described with reference to the attached drawings. First, a female mold 1 is made of a relatively hard metal base material and has a line pattern 2 of an arbitrary design engraved on its surface.
A base metal that is softer than the female mold but has a sufficiently higher surface hardness than the metal base 5 described above on the two sides of the line pattern;
For example, one smooth surface of brass or the like is put together and hard-hit with a hammer or the like to force the pattern into the line pattern 2 of the female mold, thereby transferring the pattern as a convex line pattern 4 to form the male mold 3.

The silver base 5, which has been stretched and annealed to a thickness of about 0.3 mm, is sandwiched between a pair of male and female molds obtained in this manner and pressed, and a line pattern is engraved on one side of the female mold. The maximum depth of (
I() is approximately Q, 5**, and the draft angle of the uneven part (S)
is set at around 20 degrees (see Figure 2). Therefore, when the base material 5 is interposed between two molds that fit each other accurately and pressed with a constant pressure, the base material 5 will be formed on the front and back sides corresponding to the uneven patterns 2 and 4 of the male and female molds. An uneven pattern 6 is formed on the surface. Then, after turning the base material 5 formed as shown in FIG. 3 upside down, the cloisonné glaze 7 is applied to the recessed portion (see FIG. 4).

Since the concavo-convex pattern 6 can be formed as finely and sufficiently deep as the division lines of the conventional silver wire, the concave portions of the base material 5 can be punched out in a desired shape, and the concave portions can be underglazed with an appropriate color. After applying a top glaze and repeating drying and baking to sinter the glaze in the same manner as before, rough polishing, final polishing, etc. are performed to attach the ring fittings, etc., to create the desired product.

As described above, according to the technique of the present invention, a convex line pattern that accurately corresponds to a line pattern previously engraved on the surface of the female mold can be easily obtained on the male mold. In addition, by pressing an extremely thin metal base between the two molds, the base is molded to follow the irregularities of the two molds, but in this case, the thickness of the base must be sufficiently thin, and the thickness of the base must be sufficiently thin. The combination of the high fitting precision of the male and female molds obtained by this method allows the unevenness to be deep, and especially the rising slope (draft slope) of the convex wall to be strong, so that the cloisonné in each section is uniform. It can exhibit color. Furthermore, the line pattern engraved on the female mold surface can be easily configured to be thin, unlike the conventional partition lines created with silver wire, and the upper surface of the convex part exposed to the product surface as a partition line can be made as thin as possible. It has the special effect of being able to mass-produce products with a high finish and artistic value equivalent to that of conventional wired cloisonné.

In addition, the extremely thin metal base not only reduces the weight of the product, but also reduces the amount of expensive metal base used, which, combined with the above-mentioned possibility of mass production, makes it possible to obtain high-quality cloisonne at a low price. The effect is also significant.
