シール部を組付ける一方、この静止側シール部の
メイテイングリングに、前記回転軸側に組付けら
れたシールリングからなる回転側シール部を摺接
させるとともに、前記金属ベローズの内側にコイ
ルスプリングを介装してなるメカニカルシールに
おいて、前記静止側シール部のリテーナとメイテ
イングリングを互いに分離可能に組付け、かつ前
記バツフルスリーブの先端部を前記メイテイング
リングの内径部側に臨ませるとともに、このメイ
テイングリングの内径部に形成した切欠溝に、前
記バツフルスリーブの先端部に形成した前記リテ
ーナの内径よりも高い立上り部を係合させて廻り
止め可能にする一方、前記バツフルスリーブの外
周とリテーナの内周との間にダンパを設けたこと
