Claims (1)
- ピストンの頭部に開口して前記ピストンに設け
られたキヤビテイとシリンダーヘツドとの間に形
成される燃焼室内にノズルで燃料を直接噴射して
燃焼させる直接噴射式デイーゼルエンジンであつ
て、前記ノズルとしてスロツトル型噴射ノズルを
使用するとともに、前記ノズルから噴射されて霧
化する燃料の発達形状と略一致する放物線の外側
に前記キヤビテイの内壁面が沿うようにして前記
キヤビテイの縦断面形状を略ちようちん形に前記
開口を狭めて形成し、かつ前記キヤビテイ内壁の
中間部分より穿設されて前記ピストン頭部上面に
開口する噴出孔を複数設けたことを特徴とする直
接噴射式デイーゼルエンジン。
