According to this embodiment, when the hot water is within the safe operating temperature, the temperature-sensitive member 15 made of a shape memory alloy contracts as shown in FIG. The mixed hot water flows out from the mixed hot water passage 10 to the shower hose 3, and is ejected from the shower spout 3a. When hot water reaches a high temperature above the safe temperature during use, the temperature-sensitive member 15 made of shape memory alloy senses the temperature and expands against the load of the return spring 13.
The valve 7 is raised to shut off the mixed hot water passage 10. Therefore, hot water with a temperature higher than the safe temperature for use will not be ejected from the shower outlet 3a. Even if the temperature becomes higher after shutoff, the buffer spring 14 is compressed, so that the stress strain on the temperature-sensitive member 15 made of shape memory alloy is alleviated.

According to the second invention, after hot water with a temperature higher than the safe use temperature flows in and the valve 7 shuts off, when hot water within the safe use temperature after readjusting the hot water mixing faucet is supplied, the supplied hot water flows in. Due to the pressure, the hot water that has accumulated near the temperature sensing member 15 is forced out into the shower hose 3 through the leak hole 20.
Therefore, the temperature around the temperature-sensitive member 15 is quickly replaced with new hot water and lowered, compared to storing high-temperature hot water and mixing it with new hot water. The time from the point of hot water supply operation to the contraction operation of the temperature sensing member 15, that is, the opening operation of the valve 7, is shortened, and the responsiveness of hot water spouting at the time of resupply is improved. Note that the leak hole 20 may be provided in the seat surface 9 of the valve.

According to this third embodiment, when hot water exceeding the safe use temperature flows in and the valve 7 is shut off, the water discharge pipe 2
The opening 22a of No. 2 is opened, and the opening state of the opening 22a is maintained while the valve 7 is in the shut-off state. In this state, when the hot water mixer tap is readjusted to supply hot water within the safe operating temperature, the hot water that had accumulated near the temperature sensing member 15 is discharged from the opening 22a due to the inflow pressure of the supplied hot water. It is pushed out into the hot water pipe 22. Therefore, as in the second embodiment, the temperature around the temperature-sensitive member 15 is quickly replaced with new hot water and lowered, compared to when fresh hot water is mixed with high-temperature hot water while it is still stored. Therefore, the time from the time of a new hot water supply operation to the contraction operation of the temperature sensing member 15, that is, the opening operation of the valve 7, is shortened, and the responsiveness of hot water spouting at the time of resupply is improved. Further, according to the present invention, the hot water discharged from the case 6 at the time of resupply is
It can be discharged to a drain hole in a bathroom or the like without being discharged to the shower hose 3.

G. Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the first invention, when hot water reaches a temperature higher than the safe operating temperature during use, the valve automatically shuts off the mixed hot water passage, so that hot water does not flow from the shower spout or faucet. It does not eject, preventing risks such as burns, and reduces thermal stress on temperature-sensitive components due to high temperatures.
Improved reliability. Furthermore, according to the second and third inventions, in addition to exhibiting the effects of the first invention, after the valve is shut off by supplying hot water, new hot water adjusted to a safe temperature for use is supplied. In such a case, the newly supplied hot water pressure will push the hot water that had accumulated in the safety device out of the leak hole or the hot water discharge pipe, so that the area around the temperature-sensitive member will quickly reach hot water at a safe temperature for use. The return time of the temperature-sensitive member is shortened, and the responsiveness up to the spouting of hot water is improved compared to when the hot water is resupplied.
