[Detailed description of the invention] <<Object of the invention>> (Industrial application field) The present invention forms one or more grinding lines on a raw material,
This relates to a material feeding device that is compatible with sawing machines such as band saws and circular saws that are used to saw and split raw materials. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Lumber sawing equipment that saws and splits raw material using band saws, circular saws, etc. includes a saw machine that directly performs the sawing process, as well as a feeder that holds the raw material and supplies the raw material to the saw machine. There is a material device. As a material feeding device, there is a material feeding device fifl' applied to a so-called single saw type saw machine as shown in Fig.
There is a material feeding device 1' that is applied to a so-called twin saw type saw machine as shown in J, or a saw machine that performs more than one saw. A rotary motor M is used as a drive source for each of these material feeding devices 1', and the rotational motion of the rotary motor M is converted into linear motion via an intermediate transmission member such as a gear, chain, belt, or wire W. The material feeding device 1' is then driven to travel. However, when such a method is used, for example, in the material feeding device 1' shown in FIGS. 6 and 7,
A wire W is fixed to the front and back of the frame, or to either end, and this wire W is connected to the wire drum DT! Since the pedestal 8' is moved by cutting it off, there is no chance of wire breakage or
Or the frame 8 due to chain breakage or belt breakage in the drive section.
There have been problems such as running out of control, instability of running due to loosening of the wire W, and time loss associated with replacing the wire W when such a situation occurs. <Technical problem to be solved> The present invention was made in view of this background,
A new material feeding device that eliminates the rotary motor that has traditionally been used as a drive source in this type of material feeding device and uses a linear motor instead, allowing safer and more stable running. This is an attempt to develop the following. <<Structure of the Invention>><<Means for Achieving the Purpose>> The material feeding device, which is the first invention of the present application, is a device that runs near a sawing machine while holding a raw material to saw and split the raw material. The device is characterized by being driven by a linear motor as the drive source. (2) In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, the material feeding device, which is the second invention of the present application, uses wheels as a support method for the traveling platform in the device, and the traveling platform is levitated by the wheels and is driven by a linear motor. It is an impressive feature that it does this. These inventions attempt to achieve the above objectives. <<Operation of the invention>> Since the material feeding device, which is the first invention of the present application, uses a linear motor as a drive source, gears, belts, chains, wires, etc. that are required when using a rotary motor are not required. There is no need for any intermediate transmission members, and the pedestal moves directly in the horizontal direction simply by applying voltage to the primary coil of the linear motor. In addition to the above-mentioned functions, Motoyamabyo's second invention, the material feeding device, uses wheels to support the pedestal, so the wheels ensure that the primary coil and secondary conductor of the linear motor are always kept at a constant distance. Since the two are held together, a constant attractive force is maintained between the two. Embodiments> The present invention will be specifically explained below based on illustrated embodiments. FI! In J, the material feeding device indicated by the symbol l is the material feeding device according to the present application, and as an example, Figs. 1 to 4 show a device that can be used in a so-called single saw type saw machine, and Fig. 5 shows a so-called twin saw type saw machine. Shows what is applicable to saws of this type or higher. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a sawing machine 2 is provided adjacent to the middle of the traveling path of such a material feeding device 1. Together with this saw I12, raw material A is sawed and split. In addition, the saw 2 is held near its lower end by a pin-shaped base [13], and this base 3 also substantially controls the running route of the material feeding device 1 on the material feeding device 1 side. It holds a rail machine frame 5, which is a support member for the running rail 4. Although FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate the material feeding device 1 that is compatible with a single-saw type saw 1i2, the material feeding device 1 that is compatible with a multi-saw type saw 2 shown in FIG. Basically, the layout is the same. The structure of the material feeding device 1 arranged in this manner is as follows. First of all
The material feeding device l shown in Fig. 4 will be explained. This material feeding device 1 is roughly divided into a traveling unit 7 and a cassette unit H5. Of these, the traveling unit 7 combines channel materials etc. into a rectangular shape as appropriate, and includes a traveling pedestal 8 which serves as a frame member, and this traveling pedestal. 8, and an axle 1 that is rotatably supported, passing between the bearing portions 9 that are symmetrically provided downward from the side lower surface of the wheel 8, and the opposing bearing portions 9.
0 and wheels 1) provided near both ends of this axle 1o, and furthermore, a holder for holding the secondary conductor 22 of the linear motor LM, which is a characteristic structure of the present application. The section 12 is provided at an appropriate position (in this embodiment, the center is an example) on the lower surface of the traveling frame 8.The traveling unit 7 has wheels 1) that move on the traveling rail 4, so that the traveling rail Slide 4. Also Kasugai unit 1
A suitable number of beds 5 are provided on the traveling frame 8 in the traveling unit 7, and a bed l fixed to the traveling frame 8 is provided.
6 is placed downward, and two walking rails 17 are placed on the upper surface of the bed l6 in a direction perpendicular to the traveling direction of the traveling unit 7.
, the walking device 18 is slidably provided on the walking rail l7, and a cutter 19 is provided at the end of the stepping device 18 on the side of the saw machine 2. As a characteristic feature of the present application, the traveling unit 7 that operates in this manner is driven by a linear motor LM. As is well known, the linear motor LM has a structure that looks like the stator of a rotary motor, which generates a magnetic field by passing current through a coil, is cut open and stretched out into a flat plate, and the rotor is made of a steel plate. This is a replacement, and the two face each other. In other words, the stator and rotor of a rotary motor move linearly in the horizontal direction instead of rotating relative to each other. Furthermore, the material feeding device 1 according to the present application has a structure in which the primary coil 21, which corresponds to the stator in a rotary motor, is fixed, and the secondary conductor 22, which corresponds to the rotor in the rotary motor, is movable. However, of course, the relationship between the two can be reversed. Of these, the primary coil 2l is supported from below by a support stand 23 provided on the foundation 3 so as to be located near the middle of the two parallel running rails 4. On the other hand, the secondary conductor 22 is held by a holding portion 12 provided on the lower surface of the traveling frame 8 in the traveling unit 7. A wheel floating system is used to maintain a constant distance between the two, and the suction force can be adjusted by changing the diameter of the wheel 1l or the mounting positions of the primary coil 2l and secondary conductor 22. Next, the material feeding device 1 shown in FIG. 5 will be explained. Like the material feeding device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 described above, this material feeding device 1 is also roughly divided into a traveling unit and a scraper unit 15. The traveling unit 7 is basically the same in configuration as the material feeding device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 described above, except for some differences in structure such as the number of wheels 1l and the shape of the traveling frame 8. Details are omitted. On the other hand, regarding the Kasugai unit l5, the first
The structure is completely different from the material feeding device 1 shown in Figures 1 to 4.
The material feeding device 1 shown in Fig. 4 holds the material A by sandwiching the trunk of the material A at several points, whereas the material feeding device 1 shown in Fig. Kasugai 19 acts on each surface to hold it in place. The installation locations and positional relationships of the linear motors LM are similar to those of the material feeding device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 described above. Next, the process of sawing and splitting the raw material A by the material feeding device 1 according to the present application having such a structure will be explained by taking the material feeding device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 as an example. First, the raw material A, which has been stored in an appropriate place in advance, is sequentially supplied to the material feeding device l.
It is held by being sandwiched from above and below by the kasugai l9. Thereafter, the walking device 18 moves toward the sawing machine 2 along the walking rail 17 so as to reach a predetermined sawing position, and stops when it reaches the predetermined sawing position. Then, in this state, the saw machine 2 and the traveling unit 7 are started. That is, the sawing machine 2 starts rotating at a predetermined number of rotations, and the traveling unit 7 moves to the support base 23.
A current flows through the primary coil 2l fixed to the saw blade 2, and the magnetic field generated by this causes the secondary conductor 22 to start traveling toward the sawing board 2. Then, it reaches a speed set in relation to the rotational speed of the saw blade in the saw machine 2, and at this speed the raw material A comes into contact with the saw blade, and the sawing process is performed. After the sawing process is completed, one of the sawn workpieces is no longer held and is sent to the next process, while the other workpiece, which is supported by the cutter l9, remains supported by the material feeding device. It is returned to the origin position along with l. When further processing this workpiece, the walking device 18 moves toward the sawing machine 2, and sawing and splitting is performed in the same order as described above. Further, if re-machining is not required, the shavings 19 are released, the workpiece is sent to the next process, and the series of sawing and splitting processes is completed.

Although the material feeding device-1 according to the present application is thus constructed, for example, chips from sawing and other foreign matter may be present in the gap between the primary coil 21 and the secondary conductor 22 in the near motor LM. It is also possible to provide a cover, etc., as appropriate to prevent water from entering. Furthermore, in the material feeding device 1 according to the present application, a wheel levitation method is adopted, and the load of the material feeding device 1 is supported by the wheels 1), but instead of this, a supporting method such as a magnetic levitation method or an air levitation method may be used. It is also possible to adopt However, in this case, if the secondary conductor 22 is made of only a magnetic material such as iron, the attractive force will be too strong, and the secondary conductor 22 will
Since it is expected that the secondary conductor 22 may be difficult to move in the horizontal direction, the secondary conductor 22 may have a structure in which a non-magnetic conductor plate such as aluminum or copper is laminated with a magnetic conductor plate such as iron. In this case, the nonmagnetic conductor plate is naturally placed on the primary coil 21 side. <<Effects of the Invention>> The material feeding device If according to the present application has the above-described structure and exhibits the following effects. In other words, since the material feeding device 1 according to the present application uses the linear motor LM as the drive mechanism, wire breakage and drive part problems that were caused when a conventional rotary motor was used are avoided. It is possible to avoid runaway movement of the traveling frame 8 due to a chain or belt breakage, unstable traveling due to loose wires, or time loss associated with replacing wires when such a situation occurs. Furthermore, since such an intermediate transmission member is not required, the drive mechanism can be simplified, and it can also contribute to improved transmission efficiency and automatic control. In addition, by adopting the wheel levitation method, it is much cheaper than other magnetic levitation or air levitation methods, and there is no need to incorporate any other complicated mechanisms. In addition, dust generation and noise, which are problems with the wheel floating type, are not so much of a problem with this type of sawmill, so it can be said that this is the best system for the material feeding device 1 used in the sawmill.
