Abstract

PURPOSE:To record speech voice economically without need of provision of a recorder corresponding to a telephone set by providing a voice storage section (voice memory section) in the inside of a private branch of exchange and using the section as a recorder in common to the system. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of a telephone set (TEL) 2 and a private branch of exchange (PBX) 1 accommodating a trunk line and the TEL 2, and the PBX 1 is provided with a voice memory section (VMEM) 17 storing the speech voice. Upon the receipt of a predetermined control signal sent from the TEL 2, the speech voice of the TEL 2 in the talking state is controlled to be stored in the voice memory section 17. Thus, the same number of recorders as number of telephone sets is not required and a space installing the recorder in addition to the telephone set is not required.
