This method is excellent in that it allows the formation of hair roots without complex processes such as plastic processing, but the artificial hair manufactured using this method is easy to untie if it is made of a single layer, and if it is made of double or more layers. With a tight knot, the knot becomes too thick compared to the root of the hair and the wound becomes larger when the hair is transplanted. As a result, the rate of hair shedding immediately after the transplant is high, and there is a risk of inflammation on the skin after the hair has settled. If the hair becomes suppurated, it must be pulled out immediately, but if it is pulled out after the loop-shaped hair root has penetrated and the subcutaneous tissue has developed, it will break at the base of the hair root knot and the hair root will remain within the skin, causing medical problems. There were drawbacks that caused various problems.

In order to eliminate such problems, the present inventor proposed in a previous application (Utility Model Application No. 142524/1983) that the peeling strength could be increased by thermally bonding the intersections of hair roots wound in a loop using high-frequency point welding technology. Therefore, when the implanted artificial hair is pulled out with a strength above a certain level (hereinafter referred to as the critical peeling strength), the junctions at the intersections are separated and the loop-shaped hair root becomes a single thread that separates from the skin. He proposed a manufacturing method for artificial hair that can be pulled out without leaving any hair roots inside.

Normally, when hair is styled with a comb, the load applied to the hair is 90 to 100 g, so it is necessary to manufacture artificial hair with a peel strength of 100 g or more.

It is difficult to consistently produce artificial hair fused at the above-mentioned single-point intersection with an average peel strength of 100 g or more. In order to obtain a product with a peel strength higher than this, it is necessary to increase the pressure applied by the heating device to achieve strong fusion. However, although the peel strength increases if the pressure applied by the heating device is increased, increasing the pressure applied makes it easier to break from the fused portion. (Hereinafter, the limit strength at which a single fiber breaks when pulled in its longitudinal direction is referred to as breaking strength.) This is because the crossing single fibers bite into each other, creating a constriction in each single fiber, and This is because the orientation of the fibers is disturbed, weakening the strength in the longitudinal direction of the fibers, and the force is concentrated at the corners of the constrictions, making them easier to break.

The weight of the hair decreases to 100 to 120 g, and when the hair is forcibly pulled out, most of it is cut off from the root of the hair, making it unsuitable for commercial value.

(Objective of the Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional artificial hair, has a high fixation rate, and has a loop-shaped hair root at the base of the hair root so that the hair root is not cut when forcedly removed and comes out as a single thread. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing artificial hair for hair transplantation at low cost and with good yield, and which has an appropriate critical peel strength at the intersection point.

(Structure of the Invention) The method for producing artificial hair of the present invention includes the steps of winding artificial hair made of a single fiber of thermoplastic synthetic resin once around a rod-shaped jig to form a loop, and One end of the fiber and the other end of the filament that will form the hair shaft are entwined and twisted once to form an S-shaped joint at the base of the loop, and the filament that is to form the hook portion is twisted. A step of holding the fibers and the single fibers that are to form the hair shaft with a support so that they are spread out at a certain angle, and heating the above-mentioned bonded portion while applying pressure with a flat heating section of a heating device for fusing. This method is characterized by a process of heat-sealing and fixing only the two intersections where the single fibers of the hook part and the joint part of the hair shaft intersect.

The thermoplastic single fibers used in the present invention may be of polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, or any other thermoplastic fiber that is less toxic to the human body.
Polyester single fibers having a diameter of 0.06 to 0.1 mm made by melt-spinning a linear polymer of polyethylene terephthalate are particularly preferred because they have extremely low toxicity and high heat resistance, and have a texture similar to hair.
In order to thermally fuse only the two points of intersection where the single fibers of the hook part and the single fibers of the hair shaft intersect, heat is applied while applying pressure with the flat heating section of the heating device for fusing, as described above. , the contact force at that time is
It is necessary to pressurize and heat 20 to 40 g at a heating temperature of 180 to 260°C for 0.1 to 3.0 seconds.

As a heating device for fusion, any device such as a resistance electric heating device, a high frequency heating section, or an ultrasonic heating section may be used as long as the heating temperature, heating time, pressure contact force during heating, etc. can be freely controlled. In the case of a heating device, it is easily affected by the ambient temperature, so it is necessary to work while maintaining a constant ambient temperature of the indoor hot water or workbench.

However, the peeling strength of the joint 6 of the artificial hair of the present invention is defined as the degree to which the fused intersections are peeled off so that the hair roots do not break and come out as a single thread when the hair is forcibly removed after hair transplantation. It is necessary to control the degree of fusion so that the critical peel strength is 100 to 220 g, preferably 140 to 200 g against the load in the longitudinal direction of the trunk.

Artificial hair 1 of the present invention formed in this way
As shown in FIG. 6, the hair shaft 7 is provided with a loop-shaped portion 3 at the tip thereof, and the hook portion 5 projects at a certain angle with respect to the hair shaft 7, and forms the hair shaft 7. Only the two intersection parts 4 and 4' where the monofilament intersects with the monofilament that forms the hook part 5 has a heat-sealed joint 6, and the maximum outer diameter of the loop-shaped part 3 is 0.8~1.5mm, minimum outer diameter is 0.6~
It is extremely minute, with a length of 1.3 mm and a hook portion 5 of 0.3 to 1.5 mm. Further, the hole 9 formed inside the loop-shaped part 3 is for inserting the forked part 14 at the tip of the hair transplant needle 13 during hair transplantation, and is also for preventing the artificial hair from falling off after the hair transplantation. It functions as follows.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention involves entangling and twisting one end of a single fiber to form a hook portion and the other end of a single fiber to form a hair shaft, and intertwining each other in an S-shape at the base of the loop. A weld joint is formed, and this joint is heated while being pressurized by the flat heating part of the heating device for fusing, so that only the two intersection points where the single fibers of the hook part and the single fibers of the hair shaft intersect are heated. By heat-sealing and fixing, it is possible to easily obtain the required minimum peel strength of 100 g or more, so the implanted artificial hair will not fall off when hair is styled with a comb. Furthermore, the fusion conditions using the fusion heating device were set to 180 to 260°C, a pressure of 20 to 40 g, and a time of 0.1
By setting the time to ~3.0 seconds, it is possible to constantly produce artificial hair with a loop-shaped hair root with a critical peeling strength of 100 to 220 g, so even if suppuration or inflammation occurs after hair transplantation, , If you pull out the transplanted artificial hair with a force of 100g or more, it will reach intersection 4,
The fused portion between 4' can be peeled off and easily pulled out as a single thread. Furthermore, the breaking strength of the root of the loop-shaped hair root produced under these conditions was 300 g.
Since the above is maintained and the difference from the above peel strength is large, there is no possibility that when the hair root is forcibly pulled out, it will break at the base of the hair root and the hair root will remain in the skin tissue of the human body and have an adverse effect on the human body.
