Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate joining of a metal tool for fitting to the outer circumferential part of a header by arranging projecting part for positioning the metal tool on the outer circumferential part of the header, engaging an engaging part provided on the metal tool for integrally fitting to the projecting part by brazing. CONSTITUTION:Plural tubes 1 and corrugated fins 2 are alternately set, both ends of each tube 1 are connected with hollow headers 3, 4 and the fitting metals 6 are arranged on the outer circumferential parts of these headers 3, 4. Then, on the outer circumferential parts of headers 3, 4, the projecting part 5 for positioning the metal tool is arranged and the metal tool 6 for fitting is formed as L-shaped cross section, and an one side part is formed, as a seat part 16 brought into contact with the outer circumferential part of the headers 3, 4 and provided with fitting holes 19 corresponding to the projecting part 5 and the other side part is formed as a bracket part 17 for fitting. In this constitution, the fitting holes 19 in the seat part 16 are fitted to the projecting part 5 in the headers 3, 4 to position the metal tool 6 for fitting and the soldering in the furnace is executed to integrate them. By this method, arranging work for the metal tool 6 for fitting is easily executed.

However, this serpentine heat exchanger has drawbacks such as the inability to ensure a large cross-sectional area of the passage because the heat exchange medium passage is formed by a single flat extruded tube.

Therefore, recently, as an alternative type of heat exchanger, a so-called header is constructed by alternately arranging a plurality of flat tubes and corrugated fins, and connecting both ends of each tube to a pair of hollow headers in a communicating state. This type of heat exchanger is now in the spotlight.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, if such a special jig is used to position the mounting fittings, there is a problem in that the arrangement of the mounting fittings requires considerable effort. In addition, the use of such a special jig reduces the number of heat exchangers that can be placed in the furnace when a plurality of temporarily assembled heat exchangers are placed in the furnace and brazed together. This results in a decrease in the productivity of the heat exchanger. Furthermore, since headers are generally cylindrical in shape, it is difficult to place the mounting hardware in a specific position on the outer periphery of the header. Even if they are arranged, there is a risk that the position will shift over time, and there is a problem that the positioning state will not necessarily be maintained properly.

In view of the conventional problems mentioned above, this idea allows the mounting bracket to be easily positioned at a predetermined position on the outer periphery of the header, and also eliminates the need for a special jig for positioning. By doing this, it is possible to prevent a decrease in the number of heat exchangers that can be placed in the furnace, thereby preventing a decrease in the productivity of heat exchangers, and furthermore, once the mounting bracket is placed in the position, it is possible to ensure that the position is maintained. The purpose is to provide a heat exchanger that can be maintained at

Function: In the above-mentioned heat exchanger, the mounting fitting is positioned at a predetermined position on the outer circumference of the header simply by engaging its engaging portion with the fitting positioning protrusion. In addition, by positioning the mounting bracket in this manner, there is no need to use a special jig for positioning as in the past, and when performing furnace brazing, it is possible to Nor will the number of vessels be reduced. Further, the mounting fitting once placed in the positioned state is reliably maintained in the positioned state by engagement with the fitting positioning protrusion.

The headers (3) and (4) are coated with 1! with a St content of approximately 6 to 13 vt%, for example, on both sides of a core material made of aluminum.
- Using a plating sheet (8) as shown in FIG. 4 covered with a brazing material layer made of an 8t alloy,
It is formed by molding and processing this praising sheet (8). That is, as shown in FIG. 5, first, the central part of the praising sheet (8) in the width direction is pressed along the length direction to form a bulge in a semicircular cross-section to form a bulge part (9). Then, with a mold having a shape that matches the shape of the bulge (9) applied from the bottom side, as shown in FIG. Tube insertion holes (lO) along the tube are arranged at intervals in the length direction by pressing. This is the tube insertion hole (
This is to prevent the header from being crushed or deformed when drilling 10), and to drill a tube insertion hole (lO) with high dimensional accuracy at an appropriate position. Next, after performing surface punching as necessary, the bulge part (8) of the plating sheet (8) is
After bending and forming the horizontal parts (11) and (11) on both sides except for 9) into a U-shaped cross section as shown in Figure 7 using a press, the edges (12) and (13) on both sides are butted. Form it into a round vibrator while applying an external force using a press so that it has a shape. In addition, the above praising sheet (

12) Hit (13) in the wall thickness direction with a hammer or press to form an inclined surface that gradually becomes thinner from the lower edge to the upper edge on one side edge, and an upper edge on the other side edge. A sloped surface is formed that gradually becomes thinner from the bottom edge toward the lower edge, so that a brazing material layer is present on each sloped surface, and a large bonding area between both ends is ensured.

The fitting positioning protrusions (5) (5), as shown in FIG. The header (5) is formed into a sheet having protrusions (14) (14) constituting the header (5), and these are bent outward during the process of forming the praising sheet (8) into a pipe shape. 3) It is integrally molded with (4). Effects of the Invention According to the above, in the heat exchanger of the present invention, the metal fitting positioning protrusion is provided on the outer periphery of the header, and the mounting metal fitting can be installed by simply engaging its engaging portion with the positioning protrusion. ,
Since the header is positioned at a predetermined position on the outer periphery of the header, it is possible to easily arrange the mounting fittings. In addition, since there is no need to use special jigs for positioning as in the past, the number of heat exchangers that can be placed in the furnace is not reduced, and the productivity of heat exchangers is not reduced. can be prevented. Furthermore, the mounting metal fittings arranged in the positioned state are in a state in which displacement is regulated by engagement with the positioning protrusion, so that the positioned state can be maintained reliably.
