[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a recording/reproducing device, and in particular has a configuration that selectively uses one of a plurality of stored batteries, and uses the consumed battery as a new or rechargeable battery as needed. To provide a recording and reproducing device that can continuously perform recording and reproducing without interrupting the power supply even if the voltage of the battery in use drops below the rated value by automatically switching between the used and used batteries. purpose.

Conventional recording/playback devices house only one battery, and if power is consumed during recording or playback and the voltage drops below the operating rated voltage of the recording/playback device, this one battery is removed at that point. The battery must be replaced with another new or charged battery. For this reason, there was an inconvenience that recording or playback was interrupted during the replacement time. That is, in the conventional recording and reproducing apparatus using a battery as a power source, interruption of recording and reproducing due to battery replacement was unavoidable. For this reason, especially when using a television camera outdoors to take an image, it becomes impossible to take an image while the battery is replaced, and there are drawbacks such as missing an opportunity to take an image when retaking the image is not possible.

本考案は上記欠点を除去したものであり、以下

On the other hand, the small battery packs 2 shown in FIGS. 4A, B, C, and D have a shorter overall length than the conventional battery pack so that two can be inserted into the device 1.
The small battery pack 2 has a structure in which a battery body such as a nickel-cadmium battery is housed in a synthetic resin case 8, and is a block body having a substantially trapezoidal cross-sectional shape. A groove 9 for preventing erroneous insertion is formed on the top surface, and a recess 10 as an engaged portion is formed on the bottom surface. 11
a, 11b, 11c are electrodes, respectively in case 8.
It is exposed on the insertion leading end side of the bottom side. Here, each electrode 11a to 11c has a recess 12a, 12, respectively.
The electrodes 11a to 12c are recessed from the bottom surface of the battery pack 2, so that even if the small battery pack 2 is placed on a metal plate or the like, the disadvantage that the electrodes 11a to 11c are electrically connected does not occur.

The lock mechanism 4a includes a lock pawl 13a and an operation button 1.
It is more roughly structured than 4a. The lock pawl 13a is supported by a shaft 15a, the operation button 14a is supported by a shaft 16a, and both are connected by a rod 17a. The lock pawl 13a is biased with a counterclockwise rotational force by a torsion spring (not shown), and the lock pawl 13a protrudes into the space 3a and presses the button 14a.

The small battery pack 2a is installed by inserting it into the space 3a through the opening 7a with the electrode side at the tip. In other words, the small battery pack 2a is placed in the position indicated by the arrow with the top side facing the rear side of the device.
It is pushed in the X 1 direction and immediately moves to the guide rail 20.
a is fitted into the groove 9 and inserted in the direction of arrow X1 . When the small battery pack 2a is inserted to the final position, the lock claw 13a automatically engages with the recess 10 and is locked, thereby preventing the battery pack from coming off. In this locked state, the front end side (electrode side) of the battery pack 2a in the insertion direction is connected to the device 1.
When the side conical coil spring 21a is compressed and the rear end side surface in the insertion direction is at the opening 7a, the device 1
Further, each of the electrodes 11a to 11c is in contact with the electrode 22a on the device 1 side.

That is, the small battery pack 2a is as shown in FIG.
As shown by the dashed line in the middle, the entire space is a space 3a.
The device is inserted into the device and is locked and mounted with the rear end side surface in the insertion direction closing the opening 7a, and the electrical connection is automatically made.

In the same manner as above, the small battery pack 2b is also inserted into the space 3b from the opening 7b in the direction of arrow
It becomes possible to supply power to Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2A, two new or fully charged small battery packs 2a and 2b are placed in the space 3, respectively.
a, 3b, the drive circuit 32 in FIG.
is supplied with voltage from the small battery pack 2a via the NC contact side of the relay 33. At the same time, the voltage V B lowered to 10V by the transformer 34 is biased to the relay coil 35 . The small battery pack 2a is consumed due to recording or playback,
When the voltage drops from 12V to below 10V, the voltage detection circuit 36 detects this voltage value. The output signal of the voltage detection circuit 36 causes the red light emitting diode 30 to emit light, and the operator is informed of the small battery pack 2a.
Displays the voltage drop and prompts you to replace the battery.
At the same time, this voltage drop causes transistor 37 to
becomes conductive, the coil 35 of the relay 33 is energized, and the movable contact piece is switched to the contact NO side. Therefore,
Power will now be supplied from the small battery pack 2b. Here, the operator knows from the light emission display of the red light emitting diode 30 that the small battery pack 2a is exhausted, removes the small battery pack 2a, and inserts a charged spare small battery pack.

In addition, when the small battery pack 2b drives the device 1 and the voltage drops to 10V or less, it operates in the same way as the small battery pack 2a described above, the green light emitting diode 31 emits light, and the movable contact piece of the relay 33 The contact switches to the NC side (battery 2a side).

In this way, even when recording or playing in a place where the only power source is a battery, such as outdoors, when two small battery packs 2a and 2b are inserted and one of them drops below 10V, the power will automatically turn off. Since the power supply circuit is switched to the other small battery pack 2, the battery can be replaced without interrupting recording and playback of the device 1, and a spare charged small battery pack 2 can be prepared to replace the used small battery pack. By replacing it with 2, power can be continuously supplied and recording or reproduction can be performed continuously for a long time.

When replacing the small battery pack 2a, first push the operation button 14a to make the small battery pack 2a removably protrude from the device 1.
That is, when the operation button 14a is pressed, the rod 17a is pulled, and the lock pawl 13a is rotated clockwise to close the recess 1.

It is partially pushed out from a, making it easier to remove. This state is shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 2A. Next, the used small battery pack 2a is pulled out from the space 3a, and a new or charged small battery pack 2 is inserted in its place in the same manner as described above to complete the replacement.

As mentioned above, according to the recording and reproducing device of the present invention,
Voltage is supplied continuously to maintain a predetermined voltage level at all times, and one battery can be replaced while another is in use, so there is no need to stop the device and interrupt operation when replacing a battery. , it can be used continuously for a long time, and the display allows the operator to know when one battery is depleted and check when to replace the battery. Unlike the above, image capturing is not interrupted due to battery replacement, and recording and playback can be continued for a long time. It also has the advantage of reducing the risk that the device will come to a standstill due to the operator accidentally removing a usable battery.
