There is a risk of causing As a countermeasure to this problem, a vehicle equipped with an indicator light on the outer edge has been proposed, but with such a device, the light from the indicator light enters the driver's eyes, dazzling the driver and making it difficult to see the image reflected in the mirror. There was a problem.

A lamp housing with an internal indicator light is provided at the outer end of the mirror housing so that it can be seen from the front and rear. The rear lens part of the lamp housing is formed so that it is located in front of the line connecting the outermost side of the mirror housing that can be seen from the standard position of the eye, and there is a low light transmittance or light blocking material between the lamp housing and the mirror housing. It is characterized by having a partition wall. Specifically, in the present invention, a mirror holder with a mirror attached thereto is tiltably attached to a mirror housing, and a lamp housing is provided at the outer end of the mirror housing to surround an indicator light so as to be visible from the front and rear. Attachment, a partition wall made of a low light-transmitting material or a light-shielding material is provided at the outer end of the mirror housing, and a first standing portion is formed by bending the partition wall backward from the front wall of the mirror housing, and a tip of the first standing portion. It is composed of a horizontal part bent toward the outer end and a second upright part bent backward from the tip of the horizontal part, and the socket for the indicator light is attached to the horizontal part of the partition wall, and the horizontal part is connected to the mirror. The lamp housing is set at a front position of the holder, and the lamp housing includes a front lens part and a rear lens part made of a translucent material, and the front lens part is formed to be located on an extension of the front wall of the mirror housing. Also, the rear lens part is
so that the driver's eyes are located in front of an extension line of straight line A-B connecting point A, the standard position of the driver's eyes, and point B, the rear end of the bulkhead, which is the outermost point when viewed from point A; It is characterized by being formed to be inclined forward at an angle θ with respect to the mirror surface.

Indicates the driver's seat. A is the standard position of the eyes of a driver sitting in the driver's seat, B and B' are the outermost positions of the mirror housing 3 seen from point A, and the lamp housing 4 is located along the line connecting points A-B and point A. It is located forward of the line connecting -B'. Here, forward means the forward direction of the vehicle. Therefore, under normal conditions, from point A, the lamp housing 4 is in the shadow of the mirror housing 3, and no light enters the driver's eyes. Moreover, since it is visible from the outside, the outermost position of the door mirror device 2 is not visible to other people. It is easily visible. In addition,
The indicator light according to the present invention can also function as a width light or direction indicator light.

The horizontal portion 25b of the partition wall 25 is disposed in front of the mirror holder 19, and the horizontal portion 25b
A socket 27 into which an indicator light 26 is inserted is attached. The indicator light 26 is appropriately connected to a power source (not shown) by a lead wire 28, and the lamp housing 4 is fixed to the mirror housing 3 with screws 29 so as to cover the partition wall 25. The lamp housing 4 is a molded product made of a translucent material, and the front lens portion 30 is attached to the front wall 3a of the mirror housing 3.
It is formed so that it is located on an extension of the Via the connecting portion 32 which is bent and bent rearwardly and outwardly from the tip of the front lens portion, the connecting portion 32 is bent backwardly and inwardly from the rear end of the connecting portion 32, that is, from the side to the rear. A rear lens portion 31 is formed by extending the rear lens portion 31 . The rear lens portion 31 is positioned forward of the straight line A-B connecting the standard position A of the driver's eyes and the rear end point B of the partition wall 25, which is the outermost position when viewed from the point A. In addition, it is formed to be inclined forward at an angle θ with respect to the surface of the mirror 20. Bulkhead 2

When turned on, it can be seen from the front, rear, and side, and visibility from the outside is good. Moreover, it does not enter the driver's field of view in a normal posture, and it prevents him from checking the rear image reflected in the mirror 20. This will be prevented. Note that the rear lens portion 31 is connected to the straight line A-B.
By forming the indicator light near the extension line of the door mirror device 2, the driver can confirm the light of the indicator light 26 by moving his/her eyes a little rearward, and easily know the position of the outer edge of the door mirror device 2. becomes possible.

の小型化、軽量化が可能となるものである。 As described above, according to the present invention, the light from the indicator light does not enter the driver's eyes, making it easier to see the image.
Furthermore, it is possible to obtain a door mirror device in which the position of the outer end can be easily recognized by a person outside the vehicle. In particular, the rear lens portion of the present invention is located forward of the extension line of straight lines A and B connecting the standard position A of the driver's eyes and the rear end point B of the bulkhead, which is the outermost point when viewed from point A. Since it is formed so as to be inclined forward by an angle θ with respect to the surface of the mirror, the amount of protrusion of the rear end point B can be small, so that the door mirror device can be made smaller and lighter.
