Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a positive keeping of a base temperature of another room even if a back-up air conditioner is used in one room by a method wherein an information source changing-over means is provided for controlling a cooling operation for a controller in response to information from a discharged gas temperature sensor when a back-up cooling state is attained in response to information from a discriminating means. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating means 14 for use in discriminating a back-up cooling state in which a sensed temperature got by a discharged gas temperature sensing sensor S2 is higher than a sensed temperature sensed by a circulating air temperature sensing sensor S1 is provided. Information source changing-over means 15 is provided for controlling a cooling operation for a controller C1 in response to information got from the sensor S2 when a back-up cooling state is attained. Even if back-up air conditioners B1 and B2 are used in the rooms 1a and 1b and a sensed temperature of the sensor S1 becomes a low temperature so as to stop a base air conditioner A1, when temperatures in a room 1c connected to a discharging duct 10 or a corridor 1d become higher than a cooling base temperature, the base air conditioner A1 is operated to perform a cooling operation and then the cooling base temperatures at the room 1c or the corridor 1d are kept.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention provides a method for maintaining each room at a comfortable temperature in independent housing, apartment complexes, office buildings, etc., and
In order to ventilate all the rooms, a base air conditioner is connected to each of the plurality of rooms by a temperature-controlled air supply duct, and an air circulation duct to the base air conditioner is connected to a part of the plurality of rooms.
Further, an exhaust duct is connected to the remaining part, an outside air supply path is connected to the air circulation duct, a backup air conditioner is provided to individually control the temperature of the plurality of rooms, and the temperature of the air circulated by the air circulation duct is detected. A central type equipped with a circulating air temperature detection sensor and a controller that automatically switches the base air conditioner between an operating state and a stopped state so that the detected temperature is maintained within a set range based on information from the sensor. In other words, during heating, the base air conditioner was operated when the temperature detected by the circulating air temperature detection sensor was below the set value, and stopped when the temperature was above the set value. Additionally, during cooling, the base air conditioner was operated when the temperature detected by the circulating air temperature sensor exceeded the set value, and stopped when the temperature fell below the set value.

However, when the backup air conditioner is used in a room connected to the air circulation duct, the temperature of the circulating air changes significantly, causing the base air conditioner to shut down and the base air conditioner to stop working in the room connected to the exhaust duct. There was a risk that the system would stop and become unable to maintain the base temperature.

In other words, the ability to maintain the base temperature of all rooms at a base temperature of about 17°C during heating, and to maintain the base temperature of all rooms at a base temperature of about 28°C during cooling is lost, and each room can be adjusted to the desired level of comfort as needed. It takes a long time to adjust the temperature using a backup air conditioner.

During cooling, when the backup air conditioner is used in a room connected to the air circulation duct, the temperature detected by the circulating air temperature detection sensor drops below the set value, and the base air conditioner stops cooling, causing the room connected to the exhaust duct to cool. When the room temperature rises due to the shutdown of the backup air conditioner and the temperature detected by the exhaust temperature detection sensor becomes higher than the temperature detected by the circulating air temperature detection sensor, the controller uses the determination means and information source switching means to detect the exhaust temperature detection sensor. The system operates to maintain the detected temperature below the set value, ensuring that the cooling base temperature (approximately 28°C) is maintained in the room connected to the exhaust duct.

Therefore, as in the prior art described above, it is possible to reliably prevent the inconvenient situation in which it becomes impossible to maintain the cooling base temperature in the room connected to the exhaust duct due to the use of a backup air conditioner in the room connected to the air circulation duct. The room where the backup air conditioner is not used can be reliably maintained at approximately the cooling base temperature, and the backup air conditioner can quickly adjust the cooling temperature to the desired temperature in that room.

It is also possible to consider a method in which, for example, a sensor is provided in a room connected to an exhaust duct to detect the room temperature, and the information from the sensor is used to function in the same manner as in the first invention.
In that case, there are many rooms to be targeted (as is true, the cost required for the sensor is high, and the communication line from the sensor to the determination means is likely to be disconnected, which leads to problems in terms of cost and maintenance.

As a result, even if a backup air conditioner is used in some rooms, the base temperature for cooling or heating in other rooms can be maintained sufficiently and reliably, and the desired cooling or heating temperature can be quickly achieved in each room. We are now able to provide central air conditioners with even higher performance ventilation.
