Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the color blurring of a picture caused by the meandering of a recording medium by arranging one or more guide rollers along the carriage path of the recording medium and providing a means which holds both edges of the guide rollers and gives pressure force to the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:One or more guide rollers 13 are arranged along the carriage path of the recording medium 1 and the means 14 which holds both edges of the guide rollers 13 and gives the pressing force to the recording medium 1 is provided. When tension applied to the recording medium 1 becomes unbalanced on both edges of the recording medium 1, the edge part of the guide rollers 13 which comes into contact with a side where the tension of the recording medium 1 is greater is depressed to release the tension. By interlocking the movement of the roller 13, the other edge part of the guide roller 13 which comes into contact with a side where the tension is smaller is pushed up to intensify the tension. When the tensions on both edges of the recording medium 1 become equal, the guide roller is stabilized. Thereby, the color slippage of the picture caused by the meandering of the recording medium is prevented.

The electrostatic recording paper 51 is gripped between a drive roller 62 and a pressure roller 63 and conveyed in the direction shown by arrow A. At this time, an electrostatic latent image of a black image is formed within the effective screen of the electrostatic recording paper 51 by the multi-needle electrode head 55, and then electrostatic attraction is performed by the developing device 57 supplied with black developer. After the image is visualized, the used developer is collected by the squeezer 61 and fixed. Electrostatic recording paper 51 on which a black image is recorded
The electrostatic recording paper 51 is wound up by the magenta paper 53, and after the recording of the black image information is completed, the drive source 64 is reversed and the electrostatic recording paper 51 is rewound by the rewind 52.
The electrostatic development process is repeated for a color, a third color, and a fourth color, for example, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Thus 4

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with this configuration, if there is misalignment during processing or assembly of components that come into contact with the recording medium, such as the magenta rewinder, drive roller, etc., the tension applied to the recording medium will be reduced. The problem is that the balance becomes uniform, causing meandering in the recording medium, making it impossible to accurately superimpose the colors of images, resulting in color misregistration.

Effect: With the above-described configuration, when the balance of the tension applied to the recording medium becomes uneven at both ends of the recording medium, the end of the guide roller that is in contact with the side of the recording medium where the tension is higher is fixed. It is pushed down and acts to dissolve the tension, and in conjunction with the movement of this guide roller, the end of the kite roller that is in contact with the side with less tension is pushed up and acts to tighten the tension. Then, when the tension at both ends of the recording medium becomes equal, the guide roller becomes a stabilizing technology. In this way, even if the tension is uneven at both ends of the recording medium,
This is absorbed by the deformation of compression springs provided at both ends of the guide roller, and the tension is stabilized in a state where the tension is equal.

The electrostatic recording paper 1 is conveyed by a driving roller 12 in the direction indicated by arrow A, and during this time, arbitrary black image information is generated by a multi-needle electrode recording head 5 and a developing device, for example, a developing device 7 supplied with black developer. is recorded. At this time, as the electrostatic recording paper 1 is conveyed, the magenta paper 3 winds it up and at the same time, the rewinder 2 unwinds it. After all the black image information has been recorded, the drive source 6 is reversed and the electrostatic recording paper 1 is
is conveyed by the drive roller 12 in the direction shown by arrow B. At this time, contrary to the recording process, the rewinder 2 winds the paper and magenta 3 simultaneously unwinds the paper. After rewinding the electrostatic recording paper 1 to a predetermined position, the operation of recording while conveying it again in the direction shown by arrow A and rewinding it in the direction shown by arrow B is performed for each color, for example, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Images of different colors are sequentially superimposed to form a color image in which four colors are superimposed.

In FIG. 2, 5R2SL is the tension on both ends of the electrostatic recording paper 1, and YR, Y is the tension on the electrostatic recording paper 1 caused by the guide roller 13.
deformation amount, k is compression spring] spring constant of 4, ΔXR,
is the amount of deformation of the compression spring 14 when the guide roller 13 is in the above-mentioned position, and 1/2 is the distance between the guide roller 13, the presser roller 4, and the refining roller 2. Now, assuming that the tension at both ends of the electrostatic recording paper 1 is equal, the amount of deformation of the electrostatic recording paper 1 is that it is pushed down in the Z direction by the Z direction component of the force, but it is pushed down in the Z direction by the reaction force of the compression spring 14 in the -Z direction. It comes to rest at a position where the forces are balanced. If the tension at this time is SR + ΔSR゛, then the amount of deformation of the electrostatic recording paper 1 is expressed as ΔxR-xR''''R''R゛-δ, E: Young's modulus of the electrostatic recording paper I: 〃 is expressed as the second moment of area.

Now, the tension of electrostatic recording paper 1 changes and becomes SR-+SR+ΔS.
If it becomes R, the kite roller 13 becomes Zhang (3). That is, the guide roller 13 is deformed by δ with respect to a change in tension ΔsR of the electrostatic recording paper 1, and becomes stable with a tension of SR+SR°. At this time, since the guide roller 13 is integrated at the other end of the electrostatic recording paper 1, -
It is pushed up in the Z direction, deformed by −δ and becomes sL+s,'
It becomes stable at a tension of . Here, S +ΔsL'-s

In this way, it is possible to correct the occurrence of meandering by absorbing changes in tension at both ends of the recording medium by deforming the guide roller and stabilizing the tension at an equal state.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the invention described above, the present invention arranges one or more guide rollers along the conveyance path of the recording medium, directs both ends of the guide roller, and directs the guide rollers toward the recording medium. Since the device is equipped with a means for applying a pressing force to the recording medium, even if the recording medium meandering occurs due to misalignment during processing or assembly of components that come into contact with the recording medium, it can be corrected and it is possible to easily produce highly accurate images. Positional superposition can be performed. Moreover, since the tension is automatically brought into a balanced state, it is possible to perform tension control with a faster response compared to a method in which tension control is performed by detecting changes in tension using a sensor or the like.
