Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title washing agent effective for prevention from dental caries and oral cavity hygiene by packing, under pressure, a light-shading pressure vessel with both an inert gas and an oral cavity washing agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective washing agent capable of jetting in a mousselike fashion can be obtained by packing (A) a vessel made of e.g. aluminum, resistant to pressure >=10atm. and having perfect light-shading ability with (B) both an inert gas and an oral cavity washing agent. For the inert gas, carbon dioxide or nitrogen or their mixture is used. The present invention enables application to oral cavity washing agent of such components as phytoflavonoid which has been unable to be used because of its instable disposition, leading to improvement in oral cavity hygienic level, esp. prevention from dental caries.

Recently, an invention (patent fll-169567) + idea has been announced that uses deodorizing or antibacterial ingredients such as plant blavonoids in combination with the aim of improving the effectiveness of mouthwash.
It is known that the deodorizing and antibacterial effects of plant blavonoids and other substances are significantly reduced by oxidation due to oxygen in the air and light, and the effectiveness is reduced in conventional container formats that are commonly distributed, especially transparent resin bottles. It is not possible to stabilize the components.

The shape of the pressure-resistant and light-shielding container in the present invention may be any shape and material as long as it has pressure resistance of 10 atmospheres or more and complete light-shielding property, but it is subject to the processing characteristics of the container and product distribution. From this point of view, aluminum containers are preferred.

The deodorizing and antibacterial effects of plant flavonoids depend on functional groups such as phenols, ketones, and hydroxyl groups, but these functional groups are easily oxidized by active oxygen, free radicals, and light, so it is important to keep their effects stable for a long time. According to the present invention, in addition to the oxidation prevention effect due to filling with inert gas and shielding from light, only the necessary amount can be ejected through a nozzle device. Since the residual liquid does not come into direct contact with the air during use, it has become possible to maintain the deodorizing and antibacterial effects of plant flavonoids and other substances for a long period of time. Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to Examples and drawings, but the scope of the present invention is not limited.
