ケーシング２に吸気管３を設けた装置において、
前吸気管３をＵ字状に形成し、その吐出側開口端
３ａを羽根車４の下方に開口させ、その吸込側開
口端３ｂをポンプケーシング５の周部上方に開口
させると共に、この吸気管３に昇降装置６を配設
して、吸気管３の吐出側開口端３ａと羽根車４と
の間隔を調節可能としたことを特徴とする立軸ポ
ンプ。 (2) 上記吸気管３に注水管１０を設けたことを
