Conventional rotary burners (Special Publication No. 59-34927) that supply fuel oil dropwise by inserting an oil supply pipe that reaches the vaporization part of the burner into the burner of the conventional oil combustor,
There are pot-type burners (Utility Model No. 57-47538). Although this method allows fuel to be directly supplied to the optimal vaporization location in order to obtain good combustion conditions, the fuel supply pipe becomes hot due to the combustion heat of the burner, which stops fuel supply to stop combustion. The remaining fuel expands rapidly and flows from the tip of the fuel supply pipe to the burner. Furthermore, the fuel in the fuel supply pipe prolongs the extinguishing time, and after the extinguishment, fuel drips into the burner, causing a foul odor.

As a countermeasure for this, fuel in the fuel supply pipe is made to flow quickly to the burner, by sloping the fuel supply pipe downward, or by introducing air into the fuel supply pipe so that the fuel flows continuously to the burner due to the differential pressure. There is.

[Refer to Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-66727.] [Problem to be solved by the invention] By the way, after extinguishing the burner, a large amount of unburned gas remained in the burner, so the fuel supply pipe was closed so that the fuel inside the pipe would flow out to the burner. When air is flowed into the burner, this air causes a small flame to burn at the tip of the fuel supply pipe, prolonging the extinguishing time, and even after the fire is extinguished, air continues to flow in from the fuel supply pipe, reducing the amount of residue remaining. The unburned gas leaked out of the oil combustor due to the air flow, causing a foul odor.

This idea allows the fuel remaining in the fuel supply pipe to flow to the burner without causing the above-mentioned troubles, and includes a fuel supply pipe 3 whose tip is located inside the burner 2 of the oil combustor 1 and is installed on a downward slope. In an oil combustor having a fuel supply device 4 that sends fuel oil to the fuel supply pipe 3,
The opening of the mounting pipe 6, which has one end closed and the other end opened, is installed from the outside to the wall of the burner 2 at an angle, and the oil supply pipe 3 is passed through the closed end of the mounting pipe 6, and is inserted into the burner 2 from inside the mounting pipe 6. A small hole 5 is formed in the wall of the oil supply pipe 3 in the mounting pipe 6 to communicate with the inside of the burner 2.

In this type of general oil combustor, when the fuel supply device 4 is stopped when extinguishing a fire, the fuel remains in the fuel supply pipe 3 and the flow stops. However, in this device, the mounting pipe 6 is installed at an angle to the wall of the burner 2, and the oil supply pipe 3 is installed at a downward slope passing through the inside of the installation pipe 6. 5 is open, the gas in the burner 2 flows through the oil supply pipe 3.
The fuel flows towards the small hole 5 through the gap between the mounting pipe 6 and the small hole 5, and flows into the fuel supply pipe 3 from the small hole 5, so that the fuel not only expands due to combustion heat and is pushed out to the burner 2, but also Gas from the burner 2 flows into the fuel supply pipe 3, and fuel within the fuel supply pipe 3 quickly flows out to the burner 2 due to the differential pressure. In addition, since the small hole 5 is made in the fuel supply pipe 3 in the mounting pipe 6 located on the outside of the wall of the burner 2, even if the fuel expands in the fuel supply pipe 3 at the tip, the fuel will flow backwards from the small hole 5 and flow out. This ensures that the gas in the burner 2 flows into the oil supply pipe 3.

Even after the fuel supply device 4 stops during combustion, the fuel in the fuel supply pipe 3 continues to flow out due to the differential pressure, so the flow of fuel is not interrupted, and the fuel in the fuel supply pipe 3 flows out to the burner 1. It can be burned in succession. Moreover, the gas that flows into the fuel pipe 3 from the small hole 5 is the gas inside the burner 2, and since there is no inflow of fresh air, after the burner 2 is extinguished, the fuel adhering to the wall of the fuel supply pipe 3 drips and flows into the burner 2. Even if gas is generated in advance, unburned gas does not flow out of the oil combustor 1, and the generation of bad odor can be suppressed.

As mentioned above, in this invention, the fuel in the fuel supply pipe 3 from the small hole 5 to the tip on the burner 2 side flows down while the burner 2 is burning, and a large amount of fuel flows down after the combustion flame of the burner 2 is extinguished. The fuel did not flow down into the burner 2, and it was possible to prevent the occurrence of a bad odor due to decomposed gas that is likely to be generated immediately after extinguishing a fire.

また、給油管3内の燃料を流下させる小孔5は

In addition, the small holes 5 through which the fuel in the fuel supply pipe 3 flows down do not use the air outside the burner 2 as in conventional products, but instead use the gas inside the burner 2, so that it sticks to the wall of the fuel supply pipe 3 after extinguishing the fire. Even if the fuel drips after the fire has been extinguished, the decomposed gas in the burner 2 remains as it is and does not flow out of the oil combustor, making it possible to prevent bad odors from the oil combustor.
