Traditionally, solid and brittle objects such as rocks have been destroyed using only explosives. However, with this method, areas other than the planned destruction areas were destroyed and surrounding facilities were damaged. Furthermore, it has been difficult to prevent such damage, and it has also been difficult to reshape the damaged areas in a planned manner. Furthermore, explosives are frequently used and blasting vibrations are not infrequent, which makes the work less safe. Furthermore, even after the destruction, the destroyed surface was damaged, making subsequent work dangerous.

The blasting method using the expandable destructive agent of the present invention is as follows:
Drilling multiple or single holes in a solid brittle object along an arbitrary fracture plan line, filling some or all of the holes with a slurry of an expandable rupture agent, and filling the expandable rupture agent. The method is characterized in that explosives are loaded into the remaining perforations that are not filled or into a part or all of the perforations filled with the expansible destructive agent, and the blasting is performed after the expansion pressure of the expansible destructive agent is applied. The details will be explained below with reference to embodiment figures and the like.

First, the steps of the method of the present invention will be summarized.

1) First, a downward or upward perforation is made in the solid and brittle object to be destroyed. The perforations are drilled along one or more pre-planned lines of failure. The perforation diameter, perforation length, perforation interval, etc. are arbitrarily determined as necessary. The fracture planning line can be any straight line or curve. There may be multiple holes or a single hole.

2) A part or all of the above-mentioned perforations are filled with a slurry of an intumescent rupture agent. The filling position within the borehole is arbitrary. It is optional to fill the entire hole or partially fill it. The placement of the expandable rupture agent filling holes is determined based on the rupture plan. A commercially available dispersing agent can be used.

3) Load explosives. (a) For the remaining holes that are not filled with the intumescent rupture agent, loading may be carried out at the same time as the intumescent rupture agent is filled, or when the expansion pressure of the intumescent agent is applied to the intumescent rupture agent filling hole. It may be done after the action has taken place. (b) In addition, regarding the perforation to be filled with the expansible destructive agent, explosives may be loaded into the same perforation at the same time as filling the expansible destructive agent. Later, the expandable destructive agent may be removed from the borehole and explosives may be loaded into the void. The loading position of explosives in the borehole is arbitrarily determined. It may cover the entire length of the borehole or it may be partially loaded. Commercially available explosives can also be used.
