Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a feed additive for domestic animals which is inexpensive, safe and useful in keeping domestic animal healthy by dipping a plant containing allithiamine homologues such as garlic in vinegar and drying into a solid or a powder. CONSTITUTION:A plant containing allithiamine homologues such as garlic, leek, scallion, Welsh onion or onion is soaked in vinegar and they are impregnated with vinegar. When needed, other auxiliary agents such as vitamins, for example, vitamin B1 can be added. Then, the material impregnated with vinegar is dried under ambient conditions or with heat and formed into pellets or powder whereby the subject feed additive is obtained. The additive is given to, for example, female pigs to increase their impregnation rate and improve vitamin B1 absorption needed in pre- and post-pregnancy.

The invention aims to solve Ia! However, even if the above-mentioned conventional drugs are administered to breeding sows to increase their conception rates, the conception rate is only about 70%, and the remaining sows do not survive mating until the next heat cycle. In the meantime, feed costs and rearing labor are wasted, which not only increases costs, but incorrect administration of hormones, etc. can impede the ovarian function of the sow and reduce fertility. There were problems such as further reduction of the .

Means for Solving the Problems In view of the above-mentioned current situation, the present inventor has conducted intensive research and development and has developed a product containing vinegar in plants containing allithiamine homologs, such as garlic or chives, rakkyo, green onions, and onions. When given as a feed additive to pigs around the time of estrus, it not only increases the pregnancy rate of sows to nearly 100% without administering hormones, but also maintains the pigs in good health. It was discovered that the administration of antibiotics can be kept as low as possible and, moreover, it can significantly prolong life, leading to the completion of the present invention.

That is, in the present invention, the main material, garlic, or plants containing alithiamin homologs such as chives, rakkyo, green onions, onions, etc. is immersed in a vinegar solution to impregnate the main material with vinegar, and then,
It is characterized in that it is made into a feed additive by drying and forming the main material or a mixture of the main material and an auxiliary material such as vitamins into a solid or powdered form.

Effect: When the feed additive produced according to the present invention is fed to livestock such as pigs along with feed, the amino acid called allin contained in the main ingredient such as chicken becomes allicin, and allicin is absorbed into the digestive system of pigs and other animals. In addition to having an antibacterial effect, it also increases the energy of pigs and other animals.

Also, allicin is a fragile vitamin B1 in other feeds.
Combines with and converts to ariathymine. Due to the presence of ariathymine, more vitamin 81 is absorbed, and the affinity between the pig's body tissues and the vitamin is improved, and it has the effect of transporting the fragile vitamin B1 into the body in its entirety.

On the other hand, vitamin B1 absorbed into the pig's body as described above suppresses the increase in pylobular acid and lactic acid that cause fatigue, and also prevents loss of appetite and beriberi in the pig.

Furthermore, when the feed additive produced according to the present invention is orally administered to pigs, it not only prevents the occurrence of parasites such as roundworms and tapeworms, but also has a deworming effect.

Furthermore, the vinegar contained in main ingredients such as garlic is slightly acidic, so adding it to feed acts as a preservative for the feed, prevents vitamin B1 in the feed from being destroyed by alkali, and improves the pig's appetite. and maintains the pig's blood at an appropriate pH value.

EXAMPLE Next, the present invention will be explained based on an example. First, the main ingredients are garlic at 70% by weight and vinegar at 30% by weight. Cut into pieces and soak in vinegar solution. After the garlic is evenly and completely penetrated with vinegar, the garlic is dried by natural drying or heat drying to form a solid (eg, pellet) or powder.

In this example, 50 g of vinegar-containing garlic in pellet form was orally administered to each breeding pig weighing 200 kg per week (in this case, conventionally known hormones were not administered). The results shown are obtained. The same results were obtained even if 50 g of this oral administration was administered to the sow every day after farrowing and until weaning.

In this example, the content ratio of vinegar to garlic as the main material (jfE amount ratio) was set to 30%, but the content ratio of vinegar to the main material is not limited to the above, and may range from 5 to 5. 65 weight percent is sufficient.

Effects of the Table 1 Invention As described above, the present invention immerses garlic, which is the main material, or plants containing allithiamine homologues such as chives, rakkyo, green onions, and onions, in a vinegar solution, and then applies vinegar to the main material. After impregnation, it is dried and the main material or the main material mixed with supplementary materials such as vitamins is formed into a solid or powdered form to be used as a feed additive. It requires careful attention to its appearance, does not contain any antibiotics or hormones, and is made from relatively inexpensive and safe foods such as garlic and vinegar. Feed additives can be produced in a simple process without using expensive equipment, making it possible to significantly reduce costs while being extremely safe as a feed additive.

Furthermore, by administering the feed additive produced according to the present invention to pigs, etc., it is possible to promote estrus in breeding sows, etc., and significantly improve conception rates without giving conventional hormones. Not only can it improve the absorption of vitamin B1, which is especially necessary for pigs before and after pregnancy, it can maintain a good state of health in pigs, greatly extending their lifespan, and it can also prevent parasites. It has extremely useful novel effects such as being able to prevent the occurrence of such diseases.
