Abstract

PURPOSE:To make especially a secret position in a document difficult to be read out concerning a printer by a method wherein a first printing part for performing printing through a printing control part and a second printing part for performing printing through a secret position printing control part are provided, and the first printing part and the second printing part so constructed as to be on a same carrier. CONSTITUTION:A printing control part 2 drives a first printing part 3 with a printing signal 1 from a host, and printing is performed. When a secret position is specified from the host, a secret position printing control part 4 drives a second printing part 5 at suitable timing via the printing control part 2. The second printing part 5 performs color solid printing so that the content printed with the first printing part 3 becomes difficult to be read out. A part 8 specified as a secret position in the printing is erazed with color. In order to read distinctly a character at the secret position 8, a filter absorbing effectively a wavelength of color used in color solid printing is used.
