In Fig. 2, 1 is a moving mold continuous casting machine 2.
3 are upper and lower supports of an endless track forming a part of the mobile mold 1. The support body 3 consists of a plurality of blocks 3a connected in an endless manner, and are arranged vertically at predetermined intervals. The upper and lower supports 3 are each hung around a pair of sprockets 4, and are rotationally driven by a drive device (not shown) provided on one of the pair of sprockets 4. On the sides of the upper and lower supports 3, left and right supports of an endless track (not shown) are arranged close to each other and close the sides of the space (mold space) formed by the upper and lower supports 3. Together with the upper and lower supports 3, a movable mold 1 is configured. The left and right supports are made up of a plurality of blocks connected in an endless manner similar to the upper and lower supports 3, and, like the upper and lower supports 3, are each hung around a pair of sprockets and connected to a pair of sprockets. It is designed to be rotationally driven by a drive device provided on one side of the sprocket. The upper and lower supports 3 and the left and right supports are rotationally driven so that the parts forming the mold space move at the same speed from the upstream side to the downstream side of the mold 1.

The downstream side of a molten steel injection nozzle 6 attached to the lower side wall of the tundish 5 is inserted into the molten steel inlet end 1a of the mold 1. Molten steel 7 in tundish 5 is injected into mold 1 through injection nozzle 6, and a solidified shell of slab 8 is formed within mold 1. Then, in accordance with the movement of the upper and lower supports 3 and the like constituting the mold 1, the slab 8 is pulled out from within the mold 1 by the pinch rolls 9, and the slab 8 is continuously cast.

By the way, in the moving mold type continuous casting machine 2, it is difficult to widen the mold space due to the characteristics of the mold 1, and the thickness of the slab 8 to be cast is as thin as 20 to 50 mm. For this reason, the injection nozzle 6 has dimensions of 20 to 20 mm in the thickness direction of the slab 8, depending on the thickness of the slab 8.
Thin wall of 50mm, and 300 to 1200 in width direction of slab 8
It is required to have a wide width of 500 mm and a long length of 500 to 1500 mm. In addition, the injection nozzle 6 has high dimensional accuracy of, for example, about ±0.05 mm, high mechanical strength, high resistance to thermal shock, high erosion resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion and low thermal conductivity, It is required to have material properties such as a high heat storage rate.

However, conventionally, the injection nozzle 6 has been formed only from refractory material, so it is necessary to use a nozzle that satisfies dimensional conditions such as thin wall, long length, and wide width, and also satisfies characteristics such as dimensional accuracy and mechanical strength. It is difficult to obtain, and even if these dimensional conditions etc. can be satisfied,
A disadvantage was that the injection nozzle 6 was extremely expensive.

As shown in FIG. 1, the injection nozzle 10 of this embodiment consists of an inner cylinder 11 made of refractory material and an outer cylinder 12 made of metal. The inner cylinder 11 is on the upstream side 13
and a downstream side 14, and the downstream end 14a of the downstream side 14 facilitates insertion of the injection nozzle 10 into the molten steel inlet end 15a of the movable mold 15, and the endless end portion 14a constituting the mold 15. In order to reduce the gap between the track support 16 and the block 16a, it is shaped to protrude outward. The downstream side 14 of the inner cylinder 11 is made of a shaped refractory material that can have high dimensional accuracy in order to increase the dimensional accuracy and maintain the accuracy of the gap between it and the block 16a of the support body 16. be. Examples of shaped refractories include refractories such as fused silica, alumina graphite, silicon nitride, and boron nitride. The upstream side 13 of the inner cylinder 11 does not require as much dimensional accuracy as the downstream side 14, so it is formed of a refractory lining. Examples of the refractory lining include ceramic board, alumina, magnesia, silicon carbide, and graphite. The outer cylinder 12 is provided to give strength to the entire injection nozzle 10, and is made of a cylinder made of steel or the like.
The outer cylinder 12 is provided on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 11 except for the protruding downstream end 14a.

As described above, the injection nozzle 10 of this embodiment is composed of the inner cylinder 11 made of refractory material and the outer cylinder 12 made of metal, so that the injection nozzle 10 has good mechanical strength, thermal shock resistance, and erosion resistance. etc. are large and thin,
It can be easily made into long, wide, etc. Also,
Since the downstream side 14 of the inner cylinder 11, which requires dimensional accuracy, is formed of a shaped refractory, the injection nozzle 10 can secure the necessary dimensional accuracy and can be manufactured at low cost.
