Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform treatment so that water is not absorbed from an edge in a step for forming a flitch and to obviate the need for increasing the number of stages and installation of equipment by integrally providing veneer for an end face to the side peripheral faces of a flitch so that the direction of fiber of the veneer is directed in the vertical direction parallel to the directions of the surface and the rear of the flitch when thin wood chips 1 are laminated to form the flitch. CONSTITUTION:Thin wood chips 1 are applied with an adhesive becoming a binder and introduced into a molding flask 4 and compression molding is performed therefor. At this time, veneer 3 for an end face is integrally provided to the side peripheral faces of a flitch 2 so that the direction of fiber of the veneer is directed in the vertical direction parallel to the directions of the surface and the rear of the flitch 2. Sliced veneer is formed by slicing this flitch 2. This sliced veneer is stuck on base plate such as plywood. A plate for building being a product is formed by performing coating on the surface of the sliced veneer.

[Am to be solved by the invention] In such a product, since the thin wood pieces 1 are assembled, the thin wood pieces 1 are laminated in the thickness direction, and the direction of the conduit is also random, so 71 edges are sliced to make a sliced veneer. When it is formed, it easily absorbs water from all sides, and water absorption causes changes in color and moisture in the veneer. To solve this problem, resin is applied or impregnated on the edges of sliced veneers or on the edges of products made by laminating sliced veneers on plywood. When you do g

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to prevent water from being absorbed from the edges at the stage of forming the flitch, thereby reducing the number of steps and introducing equipment. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing unnecessary construction boards.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the method for manufacturing a construction board of the present invention includes:
When the flitch 2 is formed by assembling the thin wood pieces 1, an end face veneer 3 whose fiber direction is perpendicular to the front and back directions of the flitch is integrally provided on the side circumferential surface of the flitch 2, and the flitch 2 is sliced. [Function] By using the method as described above, the end surface veneer 3 facing downward in the #I & fiber direction is present around the sliced veneer formed by slicing the flitch 2. Water absorption from the i-edge can be prevented. Further, when forming the flitch 2, it is sufficient to simply integrate the end face veneer 3 around the flitch 2, so there is no need to increase the number of man-hours in the manufacturing process or to introduce additional equipment.

[Example] The thin wood pieces 1 are dyed in an appropriate color, and the flitch 2 is formed by assembling the thin wood pieces 1. To form this flitch 2, the thin piece of wood 1 is coated with an adhesive that will serve as a binder, the thin piece of wood 1 is put into a mold 4 as shown in Fig. 1, and the piece is shaped by pressing. When shaping the flitch 2 to be exposed, an end face veneer 3 whose fiber direction is oriented in a vertical direction parallel to the front and back directions of the flitch 2 is integrally provided on the side peripheral surface of the flitch 2. In the case of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a thin veneer 3a is used as the end veneer 3, and this thin veneer 3a is arranged along the inner surface of the formwork 4, and a thin piece of wood 1 coated with adhesive is put into the formwork 4 and pressed to form the flitch 2.
It has an imposing shape. By slicing this flitch 2, a sliced veneer is shaped, this sliced veneer is attached to a substrate such as plywood, and the surface of the sliced veneer is painted, etc., to form a product construction board. It's intimidating. The architectural board formed in this way does not absorb water because of the coating on the front and back sides and the adhesive layer between the plywood and the sliced veneer, and the edges also do not absorb water due to the thin veneer 3a. In this case, the splint plate 3b is used as the single plate 3 for the end face, and the splint plate 3b is integrated at the same time when the flitch 2 configured as described above is formed into the bonded L'C composite flitch 5. This composite flitch 5
The sliced veneer is shaped by slicing it, the sliced veneer is adhered to a base material such as plywood, and the sliced veneer is painted to shape the product, a construction board. In this case, the splint plate 3b, which becomes a part of the product, may be dyed in a similar color to the flitch 2, or the color tone may be intentionally supported.

以下本発明を具体例によりさらに詳細に説明する。The present invention will be explained in more detail below using specific examples.

(Specific Example 2) When the composite flitch 5 was formed by bonding the flitch 2 obtained by the same method as in the specific example 1, a splint plate 3b of a similar color to the flitch 2 was bonded to the flitch 2. The composite flitch 5 formed in this way as shown in FIG. 2 was sliced to form a sliced veneer, and the sliced veneer was painted in the same manner as in Example 1 to be used as a flooring material.

No abnormality was observed in the thus obtained product even when the product was left with a wet rag for one day. If the thin veneer 3a and the splint plate 3b are not treated as described above, water will be sucked in from the edge r) θ ~ 5■ (2 mm on average) in a similar test, the color tone will change, and II moisture will be observed. It was done.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, when a flitch is formed by assembling thin pieces of wood, the present invention integrates an end veneer with fiber direction perpendicular to the front and back directions of the flitch on the side circumferential surface of the flitch. Since it is formed by slicing the above-mentioned 7s and 7s, the edges of the sliced veneer obtained by slicing are covered with the end veneer to prevent water absorption from 1IIkk. Furthermore, since the end veneer plate for preventing water absorption is integrally provided when forming the flitch, water absorption can be prevented without increasing the number of manufacturing steps or requiring separate equipment.
