Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the temperature distribution and the like of combustible liquid and powder in storage or during conveyance readily and safely by guiding the color change in temperature indicating material based on the temperature change in a body to be measured into a color recognizing photodetector. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 3 and 4 for lighting and light receiving are inserted into a flexible tube 5. The tip part of the flexible tube 5 is inserted, and a sensor head housing 8 is tightly closed. A temperature indicating material 9 is stuck to the inside of the sensor head housing 8. The color change in temperature indicating material 9 based on the temperature change of a body to be measured is guided into a color recognizing photodetector 15 through a fiber 4. The recognized signal of the photodetector 15 is processed in an operating part 12. The results are displayed on a color display part 14 or outputted through a printer 13. Such a constitution is provided. Part of the reflected colored light from the temperature indicating material 9 is guided to a color display part 6 directly in the unprocessed state through a half mirror 7. Thus the color change can be visually observed. Since the sensor head 2 can be set at an arbitrary length, the sensor head can be moved to an arbitrary place.

The present invention has functions not found in conventional thermometers as described above, and can easily and safely measure temperature distribution, etc., especially during storage or transfer of flammable liquids and powders, while fixing or moving the sensor head. This is a temperature measuring device capable of measuring temperature, in which a temperature indicating material is pasted inside the sensor head housing which is sealed by inserting the tip of a flexible tube into which an optical fiber for illumination and an optical fiber for light reception can be inserted. , the color change of the temperature indicating material based on the temperature change of the object to be measured is guided to a color identification light receiving element via a light receiving optical fiber, and the identification signal of the color identification light receiving element is arithmetic processed and displayed as color data. Or, it is characterized in that it is configured to be printed out, and a portion of the reflected colored light from the temperature indicating material guided by the light-receiving optical fiber can be directly guided to the display section without being processed for visual observation. The sensor head housing has a high thermal conductivity that can quickly transmit the temperature of the object to be measured to the temperature indicating material when the sensor head is placed inside the object to be measured. This is a temperature measuring device characterized by being made of a material.

The sensor head 2 has a sealed sensor head housing 8
When the sensor head 2 is placed inside the body to be measured, the 3-sensor head housing quickly transmits the temperature of the body to be measured to the temperature indicating material 9 attached to the inner surface of the sensor head housing 8. It is made of a material with high thermal conductivity. As the temperature indicating material 9, a known temperature indicating material made of a chemical substance that changes color depending on a change in temperature can be used.

The light beam emitted from the light source 11 in the device main body 1 passes through the illumination optical fiber 3 and illuminates the surface of the temperature indicator material 9 from the projection section 31, and the reflected light passes through the incident section 41 and the light receiving optical fiber 4, where it is colored. The light is guided to the identification light receiving element 15, and the identification signal of the color identification light receiving element 15 is sent to the arithmetic processing unit 1.
2, the data is arithmetic-processed and displayed on the display unit 14 as color data, and can also be output to the printer 13. In addition, by branching a part of the light-receiving optical fiber 4 or changing the optical path through a half mirror 7, a part of the reflected colored light from the temperature indicating material 9 guided by the light-receiving optical fiber 4 can be removed. The untreated light is guided directly to the color display section 6 so that color changes can be visually observed.
