However, if the arrangement of these engaging elements is misaligned, the engaging piece of the hatch door and the engaging device of the cage door will not properly engage with each other while the elevator is running, and there is a risk that the engaging element will be damaged. In order to prevent such problems, it is necessary to accurately attach the engagement piece of the hatch door and the engagement device of the cage door at predetermined mutual positions. Furthermore, as the position of the engaging portion changes due to wear of the car guide and door mechanism over time, it is necessary to periodically inspect the positions of both.

時間を要していた。 In conventional inspections, workers visually inspect the car from above the car, which not only makes it impossible to accurately determine the placement of the engaging pieces, but also allows workers to ride on the car at low speeds and inspect the engaging pieces on each floor. The work was dangerous, as it required inspecting the layout of the equipment, and inspections took a great deal of time.

Since the elevators operated on each floor without stopping, the elevators had the disadvantage that general users were unable to use the elevators during inspections.

A pair of hatch doors 1 that can be opened and closed are constructed.
Furthermore, a pair of openable and closable cage doors 2 formed on the car 5 are opposed to the hatch door 1. An engaging element is formed in the facing portions of both doors 1 and 2. The engaging piece consists of an engaging piece 3 attached to the hatch door 1 and an engaging device 4 attached to the cage door 2. When the car 5 stops at a predetermined floor, the engaging device 4 is moved by a drive device (not shown). The lever is operated to clamp the engaging piece 3, and in this state both doors 1 and 2 are opened simultaneously.

Detection is made at a position facing the engagement piece 3 when the car 5 has landed on an arbitrary floor and both doors 1 and 2 are still closed, that is, at an intermediate position between the pair of rollers constituting the engagement device 4. A device 7, for example a proximity sensor, is arranged and this detection device 7 is attached to the cage door 2. This non-contact type proximity sensor generates an output signal when the engaging pieces 3 reach the opposing positions, as shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 58-134362.

The output signal of the detection device 7 is input to the determiner 8, and the determiner 8 inputs the signal from the detection device 7 in synchronization with the signal from the detection zone signal generator 9. The detection zone signal generator 9 is
When the condition that the cage door 2 is closed and the condition of the arrangement zone in which the engagement piece 3 and the engagement device 4 are in the positional relationship where they should be engaged by the elevator car position detection device etc. are satisfied at the same time, the determination device 8 give a signal. The determiner 8 that receives this signal inputs the signal from the detection device 7, and if this input signal is present, it determines that the position of the engaging piece 3 is normal, whereas if this input signal is not present, the position of the engaging piece 3 is determined to be normal. Since the position No. 3 is inappropriate, an output signal is given to the storage device 10. The storage device 10 that receives this signal inputs and stores the current floor from the floor signal generator 11 and outputs it to the display and recording device 12. Since the position of the piece 3 is detected, it can be detected without having to stop the car at each floor, and work efficiency can be improved.
