Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the dripping of ink by a method wherein an ink receiving member is provided separatably below a plate cylinder while the ink receiving member is abutted against the lower part of the plate cylinder when a stencil printer is not used. CONSTITUTION:An ink receiving member 67, having a radius of curvature same as the radius of curvature of a plate cylinder 2 substantially and provided with an arced section into which one part of the plate cylinder 2 enters, is provided below the plate cylinder 2. Operating ends of a pair of reverse-L type supporting arms 68 are attached swingably to both end surfaces of the ink receiving member 67 and springs, not shown in a diagram, are attached to the supporting arms 68. Under a condition that a solenoid 72 is not electrified, the ink receiving member 67 is lifted up and is fixed at a position fitted to the lower part of the plate cylinder 2. On the other hand, when the solenoid 72 is electrified, the supporting arms 68 are turned counterclockwise and the ink receiving member 67 is fixed at a position apart from the lower part of the plate cylinder 2. Accordingly, the solenoid 72 is not electrified when the main body 1 of the title printer is not operated and, therefore, the ink receiving member 67 is fitted to the lower part of the plate cylinder 2 whereby the dripping of printing ink, exuding from the lower surface of an ink receiving chamber 4B, may be prevented.

By the way, in a single-cylinder type stencil printing device, a predetermined amount of printing ink is always stored in the direction of the plate cylinder, and when the plate cylinder stops for a certain period of time or more, the printing ink in the plate cylinder is wrapped around the screen and the plate cylinder. It permeates through the openings of the stencil paper and drips downward; therefore, conventionally, the plate cylinder has been stopped in a position with its non-printing area located downward.

As the rotating arm 39 rotates clockwise, the printing paper 50 rotates clockwise outside the guide roller 51, pressure roller 53, and paper guide cylinder 56. At this time, the plate cylinder 2 also rotates counterclockwise, but the circumferential speeds of the paper clamper 40 and the holding plate 41 are controlled to be very slightly slower than the circumferential speed of the plate cylinder 2.

The reason why the circumferential speed of the paper clamper 40 and the holding plate 41 is set to be very slightly lower than the circumferential speed of the plate cylinder 2 is because the printing paper 50 is pressed against the plate IN2 by the driven pressure roller 53. , is brought into pressure contact with the printing area of the plate cylinder 2. At this time, if the circumferential speed of the paper clamper 40 and the holding plate 41 is higher than the circumferential speed of the plate cylinder 2, the F flow will be applied to the printing paper 50. The clamping portion between the paper clamper 40 and the holding plate 41 located on the side, the plate 111ii located on the L flow side! 2 and the pressure contact portion of the pressure roller 53, tension is applied,

A plate cylinder having a shape similar to a cylinder and having a partition wall fixed therein that divides the periphery of the central axis into a plurality of ink storage chambers; a rotating body having a rotational circumference length substantially the same as the length of the circular arc, and provided with a paper holding and transferring means for holding the downstream edge of the printing paper around the circumference, the rotating body In the stencil printing apparatus, the rotating body is provided in a part other than the lower part of the plate cylinder, and the lower part of the plate cylinder is provided with an outer peripheral side wall of at least one ink storage chamber of the plate cylinder. A stencil printing device characterized in that an ink receiving member that can come into contact with the ink receiving member is provided so as to be able to come into contact with and separate from the ink receiving member. 6. A pressure roller that is pressed against the printing area of the plate cylinder;
Claim 5 further comprising a paper holding and transporting means that holds the downstream edge of the printing paper and causes the printing paper to pass through a pressure contact portion between the plate cylinder and the pressure roller to press the printing paper against the printing area of the plate cylinder. The stencil printing device described. 7. The stencil printing apparatus according to claim 5 or 6, wherein a certain ink storage chamber is always located at the bottom when stopped. 8. The stencil printing according to any one of claims 5 to 7, wherein the circumferential length of the printing area corresponding to each ink storage chamber is substantially the same as the length of the printing paper in the paper feeding direction. Device. 9. The stencil printing apparatus according to any one of claims 5 to 8, wherein a non-printing area is formed partially in the circumferential direction at a contact portion of the partition wall with the inner wall of the plate cylinder. 10. The stencil printing apparatus according to claim 5, wherein each ink storage chamber stores printing ink of a different color. 11. A calligraphy image reading means for reading a calligraphy image of a manuscript, a plate making means for making a stencil from the calligraphy image read by the calligraphy image reading means, and wrapping the stencil paper after the stencil making around the outer periphery of the printing cylinder. The stencil printing apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 10, further comprising a base paper mounting means for attaching a base paper.
