Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate restriction with respect to the place of installation of a printer and facilitate the operation of a power source operating unit by a method wherein the power source operating unit for operating the printer is provided at a plurality of places on the different surfaces of the main body of the printer. CONSTITUTION:A first power source operating unit 1 is provided on the left front surface of the main body 3 of a printer and a second power source operating unit 2 is provided on the right side surface of the main body 3 of the same whereby the printer may be operated from the front surface and the right side surface of the device. According to this method, the operability of the operating unit of the printer may be improved and restriction in the direction of installation of the printer may be removed.
