Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a recording medium and a head from being worn by executing separation control corresponding to interval time for prescribed time so that the recording head can not get contact with the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A control means 24 is provided to execute the separation control corresponding to the interval time for the prescribed time so that the recording head 14 can not get contact with the recording medium 10. Namely, a user inputs an interval recording mode, interval time in that case and the number of recording tracks to the control circuit 24 by an operation key 28 and inputs an instruction for starting interval recording. Further, a timer 26 is started and a magnetic head is moved to the track where a signal is recorded. According to the output of the timer 26, recording is executed after the lapse of the interval time and when there is no recording to the other track, operation is finished. Then, the magnetic head 14 is saved from the surface of a magnetic disk and the rotation of a motor 12 is stopped. Thus, the magnetic head and recording medium are prevented from being adhered and worn.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a recording device for recording video, audio, and other information on a disk-shaped recording medium or other recording medium. [Prior Art] Recording of video and audio The medium is a small magnetic disk called a still video floppy. Conventional recording and reproducing devices that use such magnetic disks as recording media have a system that automatically retracts the magnetic head from the magnetic disk surface when the magnetic head is positioned on the same track for a predetermined period of time or more.
Additionally, there were devices that stopped the rotation of the recording medium.

Furthermore, in order to conserve power battery consumption, conventional recording/reproducing apparatuses are known to have a configuration in which, if there is no predetermined operation for a certain period of time, unnecessary parts are turned off to a shut-off state.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the conventional example described above, the shutoff time before shutoff is set to be relatively long, and the time required to start evacuation of the magnetic head from the magnetic disk surface is limited. It was set to be irrelevant.

In recent years, a recording mode in which multiple signals are recorded on a magnetic disk at fixed time intervals, the so-called interval recording mode, has been proposed and incorporated into recording devices. The problem is that the interval time in interval recording cannot be set longer than the shutoff time.

[Means for Solving the Problem] A recording device according to the present invention is a device that records a signal on a recording medium at a set interval time, and the recording head and the recording medium are connected for a predetermined time according to the interval time. It is characterized by having a control means for controlling the distance between the two so as not to come into contact with each other.

The present invention also provides a device for recording a signal on a recording medium at a set interval time, which compares a shut-off time with the interval time, and when the interval time is longer than the shut-off time, The recording head is temporarily retracted from the recording medium.

[Operation] The above means can prevent the magnetic head from unnecessarily contacting the recording medium during the interval operation. Furthermore, even if the interval time is set rather than the shutoff time, the shutoff state time is inserted so as not to interfere with interval recording, so the interval time can be set independently of the shutoff time. When the interval time is longer than the shutoff time, the shutoff state is maintained for an appropriate period of time, thereby preventing damage and wear to the recording medium and recording head.

The operation shown in FIG. 1 will be explained with reference to FIG. If the interval time is longer than the shutoff time (S
3) The timer 26 is started (SIO), the magnetic head 14 is retracted from the magnetic disk surface, and the rotation of the motor 12 is stopped to be in a shut-off state (Sll). Based on the count time of the timer 26, it is determined whether or not it is time to bring the magnetic head into contact with the disk surface in anticipation of the time from the start of rotation of the motor 12 to stabilization and the time for head movement (512). Then, the magnetic head is brought into contact with the disk surface (S13), the interval time is waited for (S14), and recording on the magnetic disk 10 is executed (S15). After that, the timer 26 is reset (516), and if there is recording on another track (S17).
, returns to slo and repeats SIO and subsequent steps, and ends if there is no recording to other tracks.

By the way, the shutoff time during recording is as follows:
The rotation of the magnetic disk 10 is stable, and the magnetic head 1
4 is located on the track of the magnetic disk 1o and in a recordable state, the rotation of the magnetic disk 10 is stopped, the magnetic head 14 is separated from the disk surface in the perpendicular direction,
Alternatively, after moving the magnetic disk 10 to a predetermined position in the vertical direction and the magnetic disk diametrical direction, the magnetic disk 10 is rotated again, the magnetic head 16 is moved to a designated track, and the magnetic disk 1
This refers to the elapsed time until the zero rotation becomes stable and recordable. The factors that determine the shutoff time are:
These include the time it takes for the motor 12 to stabilize at a predetermined rotational speed from a stopped state, the start-up time of the circuit system, the head evacuation time, and the travel time from the evacuation location to the target track.
