Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of clutch facing members and shorten the machining process of a clutch driven plate with high rotating strength by forming multiple dimples on the surfaces of both faces of the clutch driven plate. CONSTITUTION:Clutch facing members 2 and 3 made of a fiber backing, a binder, and a friction adjusting agent are arranged on both the surface and the back face of a metal circular plate 4 made of aluminum alloy, and multiple dimples 5 are molded to mold a clutch driven plate 1 by thermo-compression bonding. The clutch facing member 2 is stored in grooves of female molds 6 and 7 and covered with a male mold 10. The clutch facing member 3 is likewise stored in grooves of female molds 8 and 9 and covered with a male mold 11. Multiple circular projections 12 are provided on male molds 10 and 11, thus multiple dimples 5 are molded on the surfaces of clutch facing members 2 and 3.

(Prior art) Conventionally, automobile clutch driven plates have been made of long fibers such as asbestos fiber or 2°3° glass fiber as a base material, and the base material contains thermosetting resin, NBR, SDR, and other friction modifiers. This is then preformed into an annular shape, then heated and pressed, and finished with after-curing, deburring, and polishing to form the clutch facing, which is then attached to the disc plate of the center plate. It was made by attaching it to both sides with rivets or adhesives.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the driven plate disclosed in the above publication, the weight of the clutch facing member is heavy, and rotational strength cannot be maintained only by the metal annular plate. Therefore, in order to reinforce the rotational strength, it is necessary to use a method of winding long fibers such as asbestos, japonica, etc. in a circular ring around the clutch facing member. Therefore, a process of rolling the fibers into a ring and forming a tablet is required, which has the drawback of prolonging the manufacturing process.

In detail, the metal annular ring of the present invention has rivet holes for attaching to the disc plate on the inner diameter side, and the surface that becomes the joint surface with the clutch member is made of epoxy, phenol, or dichloromethane. ) Because adhesives such as IJ lephenol are applied, shot blasting, puff polishing,
7th grade for rough surfaces made by chemical polishing etc. In addition, in the present invention, the clutch facing member that can be used includes asbestos, glass fiber, carbon fiber, ceramic fiber,
Fiber base materials commonly used for friction materials such as metal fibers, thermosetting resins such as melamine resin, phenol resin, and NB
Binders commonly used in friction materials such as rubber materials such as RlatlFL, and friction materials commonly used in friction materials such as cashudas, tographite, barium sulfate, clay, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, aluminum powder, copper powder, zinc powder, etc. A regulator may be added. In order to integrally heat and press the metal ring clutch facing i[t, the molding temperature should be 80°C to 300°C and the surface pressure should be 5°C.
It is best to do this at QKs/cnt or 800h/crA.
