Claims (1)
- 透明電極と対向電極との間に交流電場を印加す
ることによつて、これら両電極間に介設された発
光層が発光するＥＬ表示装置において、前記透明
電極の前面側にＬＣＤを配設すると共に、前記透
明電極を複数のセグメントに分割して互いに独立
発光可能な複数の発光部を形成し、これら発光部
の１つまたは１グループの発光動作時に、該発光
部に対向する部分の前記ＬＣＤを透光状態とし、
残余の発光部に対向する部分の前記ＬＣＤを遮光
状態とするよう構成したことを特徴とするＥＬ表
示装置。
