一の偏光板と、該液晶セルの下側に配設された第
二の偏光板と、該第二の偏光板の下側に配設され
た反射板とを有する反射型液晶表示装置において
、 上記第一の偏光板が、上記液晶セルの上面から
間隔をおいて離反せしめられており、該第一の偏
光板と該液晶セルの間に、側方からライトガイド
等により光が導入されることを特徴とする、液晶
表示装置。
