Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to wind a winding core upto an initialization position for a journal paper by causing the tip of the journal paper to come in contact with the pressure contact part of a paper feed roller and issuing a setting command to a control part using a key switch. CONSTITUTION:A paper sensor 9a consists of a light emitting part 9 and a light receiving part 9b. A paper sensor 9 is installed at as close a position to a journal paper 2 as possible in accordance with the size of the winding diameter of a journal paper 2. In addition, a setting command is issued to a control part 10 using a key switch. Consequently, the part where a slit hole 8a is opened of a winding core 8 is rotated to a position facing a direction in which a paper discharge guide 7 is guided and then is stopped there. Next, each paper feed mechanism is rotated to discharge the tip of the journal paper 2 from a discharge roller 3c as usual. Then the tip of the journal paper 2 is allowed to pass through the paper discharge guide 7, and is fed until the tip of the journal paper is detected by a paper sensor 9 after being introduced into the slit hole 8a. The winding core 8 is driven to rotate in a winding direction based on a detection signal entered from the light receiving part 9b and thereby the journal paper 2 is wound upto an initialization position under control.

The leading end of the journal paper 2 loaded on the loading core 1a is brought into contact with the pressure contact portion of the paper feed roller 3a, and a cent command is given to the control unit 10 using a key switch (not shown), etc., to control the winding core 8. The opening of the slit hole 8a rotates to a position facing the guide direction of the paper ejection guide 7 and stops, and each paper feed mechanism 3 rotates to eject the leading edge of the journal 2 from the ejection port 3c. , the paper is further guided by the paper ejection guide 7, passes through the slit hole 8a, and passes the paper sensor 9. At this time, the paper sensor 9 detects the leading edge of the journal paper 2, and the light receiving section 9b inputs the detection signal to the control section 10. The control unit 10 rotates the winding core 8 in the winding direction based on the manually inputted detection signal, and controls winding of the journal paper to the initial setting position.

FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a main part of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an exploded cross-sectional view of the winding core of FIG. 1. In both figures, reference numeral 7 denotes a paper ejection guide that guides the leading end of the journal paper 2 ejected from the ejection roller 3c in the axial direction of the winding core 8, and is made of resin or metal plate. In order to avoid jamming, the end facing the discharge port 3c is formed into a loosely expanded opening. The end of the winding core 8 facing the axis is also formed into an expanded opening corresponding to the maximum winding radius of the journal paper 2. In addition, if the maximum winding radius of the journal paper 2 is not fixed, the length of the paper ejection guide 7 is adjusted so that the position of the end of the winding core 8 facing the axis can be adjusted with respect to the axis position. It is preferable to make it telescopically adjustable.

Reference numeral 8 denotes a winding core, which differs from the winding core 5 shown in FIG. 4 in that a wedge-shaped cut groove is improved to a slotted hole 8a provided through the shaft core. The length of the slotted hole 8a in the axial direction is slightly longer than the width of the journal paper 2. Further, the spacing between the slots is set to correspond to the thickness of the journal paper 2 and to allow easy insertion. The slit hole 8a in this example is one of the winding shafts 8b of the winding core 8.
There is a slot-shaped notch in the axial direction leaving a . A cap 8d for the winding shaft is formed by implanting a tongue piece on the bottom of the cylinder that slides into the crack of the slit on the side of the winding shaft 8c, and shapes the inner diameter of the cylinder to a size that fits the outer diameter of the winding shaft 8c. is inserted into the winding shaft 8c to form a slit hole 8a, and its cylindrical outer surface is used as a rotating shaft. The reason why the crack is provided on the winding shaft 8c side is that it is necessary to easily remove the winding core 8 from the journal paper 2 that has been wound up, and is therefore an assembly type structure.

A paper sensor 9 is composed of a light emitting part 9a and a light receiving part 9b. In this example, a photointerrupter in which the light emitting part 9a and the light receiving part 9b are arranged facing each other is used. The effect is the same even with a photo sensor. The arrival of the leading edge of the journal paper 2 is detected by the front end of the journal paper 2 blocking the optical path leading to the light emitting section 9a and the empty light receiving section 9b, and the light receiving section 9b sends a detection signal to the control section 1o. The paper sensor 9 is arranged as close to the journal paper 2 as possible in accordance with the maximum winding radius of the journal paper 2, in order to ensure that the leading edge of the journal paper 2 reaches the detection position of the paper sensor 9. A variable mounting mechanism that can be adjusted to allow installation in a specific position is preferred.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a control unit, which differs from the control unit 6 shown in FIG. A control function has been added to rotate the paper ejection guide 7 to a position facing the guide direction and stop it, and following this, each paper feed mechanism rotates as before to bring the tip of the journal 2 to the ejection port. - After discharging from La 3c,
Furthermore, there is a function of passing the leading end of the journal @2 through the paper ejection guide 7, inserting it through the slit hole 8a, and feeding it until the paper sensor 9 detects the leading end of the journal @2, and a detection signal input from the light receiving section 9b. FIG. 3 shows an exploded cross-sectional view of another embodiment of the winding core. The difference between the figure and FIG. 2 is that the winding core 8 is divided into two parts, and the winding camps used in FIG. 2 are inserted from both ends of the winding core to form the slot holes 8a. It is constructed in an assembled manner.
