Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily convert graphic data desired by an operator by terminating the start of graphic data redisplay within the time designated by the operator. CONSTITUTION:Input data inputted from an input device 1 is used for graphic data conversion by a control part 2. After conversion of graphic data, the control part 2 requests a display processing part 4 to display graphic data and sets the time, which is preliminarily designated by the operator, from the start to the interruption of graphic data redisplay processing to a counter 3. Then, a display processing part 4 recognizes the display request to start the display. A time is preliminarily set by the operator; and if the display processing is not terminated yet when this time elapses after the start of graphic data redisplay, the display processing is interrupted. Thus, the next graphic data redisplay is started within the time desired by the operator after the start of graphic data redisplay.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application 1] The present invention relates to the followability of graphic data redisplay to input operations on a graphic display. [Summary of the Invention] The present invention improves the followability of displayed graphic data to input operations by interrupting the redisplay of a large amount of graphic data. [Conventional technology J] Conventionally, in response to an input operation, the graphic data is converted and redisplayed with a different appearance, and during the redisplay, the input data is processed for the next redisplay. Since the next redisplay cannot be performed until the display process is finished, I waited until the display process was finished. [Problem to be Solved by the Invention] In the above case, it does not take much time to redisplay a small amount of graphic data, so the displayed graphic data can follow the input operation, but as the amount of graphic data increases, the redisplay becomes difficult. This increases the amount of time it takes to input data, which deteriorates the ability of the displayed graphic data to respond to input operations. Therefore, it becomes difficult for the operator to convert the displayed figure as desired. Third
The figure is an explanatory diagram of the above. In FIG. 3, 6 represents the generation of input data (in this case, movement to the right), 7 represents the display screen, and 8 represents the displayed graphic data. Figure 3 (
In A), the display figure data 8 is displayed on the display screen 7, and the human power data 6 has not yet been generated. Figure 3 (B)
Input data 6 is generated from the state of Fig. 3 (Al, and the accompanying display figure disk 8 is converted and redisplay begins. In Fig. 3(C), the above redisplay is finished. However, since the input data 6 continues to be generated, the input data 6 during that time has been accumulated, and redisplay can already be started, but since the previous redisplay is still being processed, as shown in Figure 3 (D)
I couldn't redisplay it until then. Because of the accumulated input data 6, it suddenly jumps to the right end, and in FIG. 3(E), the input data 6 disappears and all figure data 8 is displayed. In this way, the sudden movement makes it difficult for the operator to perform the desired conversion, which is a drawback. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention allows the operator to set a time in advance, waits for the set time from the start of graphic data redisplay, and then 6. If the display process is not completed, the display process is interrupted. [Effect 1] When the above processing is performed, the time from the start of graphic data re-display to the start of the next graphic data re-display will be performed within the time desired by the operator. [Example 1 Next, an example of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a flow diagram of an embodiment of the present invention. Second
The figure is a schematic explanatory diagram of a display device implementing the present invention.
In these drawings, input data input manually through an input device 1 is used by a control unit 2 for graphic data conversion. After converting the graphic data, the control unit 2 requests the display processing unit 4 to display the graphic data, and at the same time, the counter 3 displays the graphic data starting from the start of graphic data redisplay specified by the operator in advance. Set the time until the redisplay process is interrupted. The display processing unit 4 that has recognized the display request starts displaying. The control unit 2 includes ST in FIG.
In EP 1, it is determined whether or not the counter 3 is 0 while decreasing the time set in the counter 3 by 1. If the counter 3 is 0, go to STEP 2, and if not 0, end. STEP 2 determines whether display processing is currently in progress, and if display processing is in progress, interrupts the display processing in STEP 3 and ends; If display processing is not in progress, it will exit immediately. The display processing is interrupted by the control section 2, and a display interruption request is sent to the display processing section 4. The display processing section 4, which has recognized the display interruption request, immediately interrupts the display processing and responds to the control section 2 to terminate the display.
This series of processing is repeated while input data from the input device 1 is being generated. Because such processing is performed, the effect is as shown in Figure 4. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of the above, and is an example showing the results of the processing. In FIG. 4(A), display graphic data 8 is displayed on the display screen 7, and input data 6 has not yet been generated. In FIG. 4(B), the input data 6 is generated from the state in FIG. 4(A), and the display figure data 8 is converted and redisplayed accordingly. In FIG. 4(C), , since the display process has been interrupted, the graphic data is moved and redisplayed using the input data 6 without displaying all the graphic data. In FIG. 4(D), as in FIG. 4(C), since the display processing has been interrupted, all graphic data is not displayed, but the graphic data that has been displayed within the specified time is displayed. Since input data 6 is no longer generated in Figure 4(E), all figure data is displayed again. Comparing Figures 3 and 4, you can see that smooth and high-speed movement is possible. [Effects of the Invention] As explained below, it is possible to perform smooth and high-speed conversion and redisplay, which has the advantage of making it easier for the operator to convert desired graphic data. ..
