For example, when canning beverages, etc., sterilized beverages are filled into sterilized cans in an aseptic atmosphere, the cans are transported to a seamer, the can lids are placed on the cans, and the cans are sealed in the subsequent process. Aseptic canning is being carried out which eliminates the need for retort sterilization.

The present invention provides a can container consisting of a can and a can lid that is sealed to the can, at least one of the contact surfaces that come into contact with each other when the can lid is placed on the can before the can is sealed. The gist of the can container is that a heat welding agent is attached to the surface of the container, leaving at least one unattached area. After the can is covered with a can lid, the hot welding agent can be melted to seal the can, making it possible to prevent the contents from spilling until the can lid is tightened. Additionally, in order to expel residual air in the head space inside the can, if the pressure inside the head space increases, for example when solid CO2 is introduced into the can, the temporarily sealed can lid may come off. As described above, by leaving at least one area where the hot welding agent is not attached, the pressure can be released, and the can lid can be prevented from coming off. Note that spillage of the contents from the unattached portion can be prevented by making the unattached portion an appropriate size.

FIG. 1 is a front view of an aseptic canning machine for canning drinks and the like using the can container of this embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1. In the figure, 1 is a can, 2 is a sterile room positively pressurized with sterile air as is known, and 3 is a sterile room 2.
A can conveying carrier mounted inside the can conveyor is intermittently driven to convey a plurality of cans 1 intermittently at a fixed pitch. 4 is a supply device that supplies cans 1 to carrier 3; 5 is a hydrogen peroxide spray device that sprays hydrogen peroxide onto cans 1 in order to sterilize cans 1 supplied into carrier 3; and 6 is a hydrogen peroxide spray device. A hot air injection device 7 is provided downstream of 5 and dries the can 1 with hot air; 7 is a filling device 8 that is provided downstream of the hot air injection device 6 and fills the contents into the can 1 in a quantitative manner;
is a covering device that is provided downstream of the filling device 7 and covers the can 1 filled with contents with the can lid 1a, and includes a magazine 9 that stores the can lid 1a, and one can lid 1a from the magazine 9. A can lid supply band 10 that takes out the can lids one by one and supplies them to the covering position for the can 1, and a can lid 1 by spraying hydrogen peroxide on the can lids 1a sent by the can lid supply band 10.
It is comprised of a hydrogen peroxide spraying device 11 for sterilizing can lids 1a, a hot air spraying device 12 for spraying hot air onto sterilized can lids 1a to dry the can lids 1a, and the like. 13
is a vertically movable heater for temporarily sealing the can lid by melting a thermal adhesive attached to at least one of the covered can lid 1a or the can 1;
14 is a cooling device that can move up and down to cool the sealed portion; 15 is a can transport device that takes out the can 1 with the can lid 1a temporarily sealed from the carrier 3 and sends it to the seamer; A seamer 17 is used to seal the can lid 1a, and 17 is a can discharging device.

Furthermore, the can 1 and can lid 1a used for the above-mentioned aseptic canned goods are made of aluminum or steel, as shown in FIG. A heat welding agent 1c such as polyethylene is adhered to the area Q, leaving at least one unattached portion 1d. In this example, the regions S and T are alternately provided as areas to which the thermal welding agent is attached and areas to which it is not attached.

In the above configuration, the cans 1 supplied into the carrier 3 by the can supply device 4 are sterilized by hydrogen peroxide sprayed from the spray device 5, and then dried by hot air sprayed from the hot air spray device 6. .
Next, it is sent to the lower part of the filling device 7, and a fixed amount of contents such as a drink is filled therein. When the can 1 filled with the contents is sent below the covering device 8, the sterilized can lids 1a are sequentially covered, and the heater 13 is lowered in the downstream to cover at least one of the can or the can lid. The heat welding agent attached to one of the two is heated to weld the two. Next, the cooling device 14 descends to cool the welded portion and temporarily seal the can lid 1a. The can 1 with the can lid 1a temporarily sealed is taken out from the carrier 3,
After being sent to the seamer 16 by the conveyance device 15 and seamed, it is discharged onto the discharge device 17.

By configuring the can container as described above, after the can 1 is filled with the contents, it can be sent to the seamer with the can lid 1a temporarily sealed, thereby preventing spillage of the contents during this time. This can be reliably prevented, and even if the pressure in the head space of the can increases, for example when solid CO 2 is introduced to expel air from the head space, this pressure can be released.
It is possible to prevent the temporarily sealed can lid from coming off.
